I noticed that Brian wasn’t in the list of band members. He played on that tour. He played at this show for certain. I was there. He played a keyboard.
Carl does a great job of the bridge on "Wishing you were here".
It seems being a humourless uncharismatic robot was a prerequisite to being a 60s reporter in any country
Where’s Carl? this would have been before his cancer in 97 since this is 96.

Shitty as this recording may be, the real talents of this band come across perfectly. Carl absolutely killing it vocally on "Darlin'".
Is Pete Fornatale the interviewer? The "Pete" that Brian says hello to?
Is Phil Bardowell singing on Summer in Paradise? May be the sound system, but it sounds like his voice during some of Carl's parts during the chorus (and maybe doubling Bruce on some of his lines?) Might be mistaken though because I don't think he joined until after Carl left the tour.

Incredible. Wild set list. Thanks for posting. Have never heard a show with Ricky and Bruce together (and no Blondie). Always thought it was a strange choice to end with something like Johnny B Goode or Jumping Jack Flash as they have so many great rockin' songs of their own to end the concert with.

Not a fan of Mike Kowalski on drums. Bobby Figueroa was much better.
I was at this concert. I think it was at the Vanderbugh County Auditorium. They did another concert a couple years later with Chicago but Carl wasn’t there. It was at Robert’s Stadium.

Under the boardwalk and Hot fun in the summertime sound a lot better live. Interesting they did a song by Sly & the Family Stone. Which makes me think of Stevie Wonder - did they ever do I was made to love her live?
