So I am back with more Epic Mickey content as I feel better from being unwell for months and want to do some EM stuff again due my hype for EMR. Here I show the differences between Build 2 and 5 again and Build 2 has an unfinished intro, while Build 5 is more finished (or finished). I really like the tutorial books, which I think is a pity, that those are not in the final game.

I wanted to do this video since a while to help those out who couldn´t figure out how to fix the collision problem in build 6,7 and 8 in the EM2 prototype builds. its a simple video, but I hope it still is useful for those, who don´t know how to do it. It is explained on EM wiki and TCRF, but I wanted to make a more detailed version of it to help people better.

Played the new demo of EMR and had so much fun. A beautiful remaster. I promised to upload more EM stuff, but I am not feeling well since few months (stress, etc) and decided to just play the demo and check in the files of the demo to relax. @@miss-cerasus no, the timeline and what the numbering means. Is Build 8 the more up-to-date build or more unfinished than the other builds?
According to the Epic Mickey wiki it's: Bank 8 (July 2011) Bank 6 (July-August 2011) Bank 7(July-August 2011) Bank 5 (March 12, 2012) Bank 4 (March 23, 2012) - Identical to Bank 1 but lacks a HUD ( Debug enabled ) Bank 3 (Unknown) Focus Test Bank 2 (February 16, 2012) Bank 1 (March 23, 2012)

What do you think is the most interesting prototype? I would like to look that one up then and research about it
Uff, that's a tough one, as every prototype is interesting with all that scrapped stuff and different level designs. But the most interesting builds I spend most of my time on are Builds 6, 7, and 8 (8 a bit more as it's the earliest one), as they are almost the same. 1,3 and 4 are nearly demos and 2 and 5 are very buggy if you want to start from level one to the endboss. It crashes a lot. If you do and need help, by changing the levels in cmdline, I will help you. Build 6,7 and 8 need the levels to be changed via cmdline to work.

As I love this game, since I played it on wii I enjoyed it a lot, the idea of an adventure in a much darker and desolate world than the one Disney had us used to and with many references to classic Disney, and seeing the new concept art makes me think about how much that cartoonish and dark aspect has improved, There is one thing or another that I liked better in the original but this remake promises a lot

I really like how, for so many buildings, they made a cartoony, bright and colorful version, then a dark, twisted and inert version, to then have the buildings in the game be a mix of both, where the colored parts are splattered on the inert model as a whole, it really sells the vibe!
I believe the completely painted buildings are for the end cutscene as magic is restored and everything gets painted in

A mixture of Disney world, the Nowhere from Little Nightmares and Bendy and the Dark revival. So haunting and fascinating and beautiful to look at, at the same time. Plus I always pretend that the Shadow Blot is the Ink demon from the Bendy games
There’s an Art of Epic Mickey book but it’s so hard to get now a days, like super expensive on eBay, so I hope maybe they release a new version for re brushed..? 🤞

I wish they kept their original design for the mad doctors mechanical arm, as the final one isn't as creepy looking.
The idea of having broken parts of wasteland stuck inside the blot during the final level is so genius- probably gonna be one of my favorite new details in rebrushed ALSO FINALLY GETTING TO SEE THE NEW BEETLEWORX!!! THEY LOOK SO GOOD!!!!
Came here to comment this. I think the last level inside the blot was a real let down, and they said there was gonna be a major rework. This is 100 percent the best way they could do this. It really ups the stakes and makes the blot feel pretty like a threat to wasteland itself, like it’s consuming the world piece by piece.
