Where is this? After the first guy got assigned to a Canadian unit, I thought this was a Canadian drop night. Then with the second guy and third guy being assigned to eagles and falcons I thought we were back in the US maybe training Canadian pilots, but 10 mins in I see someone get assigned to the Eurofighter so I’m officially clueless on what the hell is happening here. Can someone with more intelligence than me explain what’s happening here please and thank you 🙏
Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training - ENJJPT. Due to the congested airspace and general density of population in Europe, available space for jet training is extremely limited. So most of European NATO will send their prospective jet pilots to Sheppard for their initial training. A good number of the T-6 and T-38 at Sheppard are even owned by the German Luftwaffe.
It's an amazing thing. Not only does it mean you were one of the best in your class, but it also means that after 4 years of being an instructor pilot, you move on to choose whatever airframe you wish to fly (as far as I know).
It's ENJJPT, Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training. Everyone flies in the T-38 after flying the T-6, meaning that they are eligible for jets. In conventional USAF pilot training, students fly either the T-1 (trainer for cargo) or the T-38 (jets and bombers).
EURO-NATO-JOINT-JET-PILOT-PROGRAM-TRAINING (ENJJPT) Some of the pilots are from different allied countries. They get assigned to their own country planes like if you’re Canadian you might be placed into CF-18 Jet. If you’re British you will be assigned to EuroFighter or Tornado.
Amazing
17:00 it begin
B2 pilots💀
I’m never having kids

A10 was still the biggest cheer
We all love the gun with wings man.
I would be a bit disappointed if I had to spend my airforce career flying the T38 Talon.....just sayin!!!
How lucky these people are to be able not only to fly but to fly aircraft like those.
İlayda komutanım hayırlı olsun 🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷
Jordan the G-Monster gets a C130…🤣 poor fella
Say poor fella all ya want! This man can have Pizza rolls while on station unlike the fighter pilots ;)
Almost like not everyone who wants to be a pilot wants to fly fighters..
That C130 pilot will get many hours and can later transfer to become an airline pilot.
@@Tazanddhim getting a c130 doesn’t mean he wanted it, needs of the Air Force.
Cant beat the herc
Epic sax guy ftw
Congrats everyone, I'm retired and my drop night still feels like last week. Enjoy the ride!

Yeah, they have students from all over NATO
It’s called ENJJPT. It’s a joint pilot training in Texas.

i love how excited the crew gets. it's just dust in my eye

Is getting assigned a Trainer aircraft seen as a bad thing?
probably graduating into fighter jet trainign so getting that means you move onto training to do it which is a good thing

DAMN! a very strong class indeed
What does it mean when you're assigned to the T-6A? You're going to just be a career instructor for the USAF?
Means you will be a FAIP (First Assignment Instructor Pilot). Your first 2 year assignment is staying at flight school as an instruktor.
Sounds shit 😂
just wonder, here in Canada we dont have f-15 only cf-18 soon f-35 ... How come he get to flight one?
Thor getting f22 is insane.
What does it mean when theyre assigned trainers?
I read it means they will become flight instructors
It means they will become instructors, however they will most likely go on to a fighter after that.
@@timothyschminkey1532is it... A good thing? I mean vs. having right away a seat in a F15/16/22/35?
