A beautiful way to get great, sharp, minimal panel lines is to black-base the model and razor-scribe the lines after paint.
The panel lines on the top of the model before you pin-washed looked correct to scale. The underside looked absolutely cartoonish with the panel lines so big. I think that many people, in efforts to accentuate details, end up ruining their models. Instead of it looking like the real thing, it looks like some Star Wars recreation. Sometimes we need to resist the temptation to accentuate and really focus on realism.
Good video. I've been wanting to use these washes. Yours and other videos have given me some good information. Thanks.
could you tell me what mask you used for canopy please? I live in the uk
so i was wondering if i will get any problem if i use them over an acrilyc base coat, even if its coated with gloss varnish? Somebody help pls
One question. Are these washes glossy ?

Dunno if anyone gives a damn but if you are stoned like me atm then you can stream pretty much all of the new movies and series on instaflixxer. I've been watching with my brother recently :)
@Flynn Gatlin Definitely, I've been watching on InstaFlixxer for months myself :)

Good job
Hello there, Thanks for the tip, I'll try it on my next build! The washes are very nice, if you get them try them out on a spare model first because they don't act like your normal wash. You have to remove the leftover fast.
Oh man I'm so jealous that's such a beautiful model :) She looks great the weathering is fantastic! And the Pole on the wing is the pitot tube, it measures the airspeed and lets air come into the instrument's to get them to function. :D
Hi Sven! Excellent looking Zero, she a real beauty. Sometimes with aftermarket decals try cutting them out and dropping water on top of them instead of submerging them in water. It might help the reaction to the decals an keep them from breaking apart. Thanks for the toutorial on the Vallejo washes, I'm going to keep an eye out for them. Keep up the good work :)
Thanks James! Yes, they are very nice and easy to use. The best thing is that I don't have to order them online since a local hobby shop carries them! Kind regards.
