As for how to improve, first you must realize a relationship is not going to make you happy for long if you are an unhappy person.

Happiness comes from within. It is not something anyone or anything else can give to you. You have to find it for yourself. And a relationship is more likely to add to whatever problems you have, as now you have to share the baggage of the other person. I too have struggled with loneliness. Even though I do have a great family who is very much supportive of me. Ever since kindergarten I found it hard to fit in, and even now I do not have many friends, let alone a boyfriend. That being said, I have begun to find beauty in being single, in being alone with yourself in your little corner of the world, and it took me a while to find this. And even now I still struggle. But blaming half of the human of the human population for your personal problems is a bit…counterproductive. As for how to improve, try to do something small that makes you proud, maybe just do the dishes or take a walk. To me going to the local library is a great way to get out of my mind. When I feel too lonely I try to feel useful, so I clean up the entire house. Maybe you can do that too. Even if you don’t find love soon, finding a way to be a bit more compassionate with yourself and to live with yourself will sometimes be enough for happiness.

Also please just call us women…using that word is not very nice to say the least, and frankly speaking I and many others been catcalled enough times, without anyone coming up with new terminology.

The issue with being happy alone before you find a partner is that once you are happy alone you don't need one, it's a catch 22 (as you are finding yourself). And if you feel lonely then that drive to find company is hard to ignore. Don't you think there is a reason why so many of us are alone? There's nothing to be insecured or ashamed of when 1.) it's not your fault that you look way, 2.) romance is just one part of your life and 3.) love isn't always gonna fix your loneliness because when thst person is gone (relationships can be tough and doesn't always last ling), you'll still be lonely. While I can understand that looking at people individually you can say that nobody is perfect and everyone has their faults, (and indeed the people who are seen as perfect often have to live up to inhuman expectations), in reality there is a social class system, with men and women being assigned a "worth", and men are judged especcially harshly. Living day to day like that is not easy, it takes real strength. I can relate, so please read what I have to say. I've been where you are, I get that loneliness; being isolated and treated as an outcast. Seeing people online, with others, happy, fitting in, seen as decent people. Meanwhile I'm deemed as some sort of social anomaly, finding it difficult to make connections, or build up the courage to approach someone, or even hold a proper conversation with people. And there was this one time where I actually tried, but was pretty much broken down. That was a turning point for me. The sense of isolation got to me real bad. It evolved into this sort of emptiness, and it's so suffocating. So much pain. I spiraled, lived in dark thoughts, and most unfortunately developed a nasty addiction-that I still can't fully shake to this day 😓 HOWEVER, over time, I've surpassed most of my demons-all by myself :) How? By wanting to, really really wanting to til the point of an obsession, a manic fixation. It was hard at first. Of course it was. There were some days where I didn't feel like doing anything, but my life was still in shambles, I had to. Day in and day out, I said to myself, "It's either I be better or I die." Simple as that. So I strived to be better. I started doing martial arts; Muay Thai and Taekwondo; even yoga, calisthenics, mobility training, and explosive agility training. I pushed myself hard-but not too hard. I made sure to strategically train, research, watch videos, and obsess over the best ways to optimize my gains 💪 It helped a lot, especially because afterward, I would shut my eyes and thank myself for working hard, for putting in good effort, for endeavoring to see myself under myself. During a workout session, I couldn't think about my loneliness or depression because I was putting my body through intense pain, the good type of pain that washed away everything. And after I was finished with the workout, had a shower, I felt fulfilled, like I was finally getting somewhere. It gave me the motivation to finally finish my first book (that I'd started writing 4 years prior) and fulfill my dream of being a fantasy author. I always write after a good workout, which is in the morning, leaving me motivated when I finish a chapter so I can happily do chores and so on and so forth :D Also, surprise, surprise, the book was a success-thanks to TikTok and marketing guides. But mostly thanks to me, the effort I'd put in :) IMPORTANT: Though my life was better than it'd been in forever, it took two years after training for me to build up the courage, to go to places, to socialize, to meet someone. And by the time I did, I'd realized it wasn't necessary-the desire for companionship, for friends or a lover. I complete myself. I cherish myself above all to make all of that be, not a need, but a want 😊 And I'm absolutely sure you can do the same. You're human too, after all 😁❤️ PS: All workout sessions were done in the comfort of my room, as I followed along to a RUclips video. It works well, so I recommend giving it a shot 😌

Why were you a social outcast, were you doing something that turned your peers away from you? I know the feeling well, people pick up on very minor details and they cause cause them to subconsciously be repelled. Do you think the act of getting better at something (accomplishment) and exercise go together incredibly well and give you an extremely pleasant feeling that you couldn't get anywhere else? That's good news that your novel sold (fantasy is the best genre), and that you no longer feel the need to find someone that accepts you. You certainly discovered yourself as cheesy as that sounds. It's all great advice but I'm not sure what to do with myself. I lack the time or energy to have a hobby or to exercise, and I don't have anything driving me towards doing anything. @@Forsaken.Wanderer ehh..it’s kinda like a save the baby marriage situation. Sometimes a couple will try to have a baby in order to save a failing relationship. However, babies do not fix marriages, nor do they ruin them by themselves. They more or less just amplify what’s already there. If a happy couple has a wanted baby, they are going to be a happier couple, but if a dysfunctional couple has a baby, they are just going to be an even more dysfunctional couple. The foundations are very important. Same with relationships, if a happy person gets themselves a loving partner who is also happy, they are going to be in an even better place emotionally. Because both already have solid foundations upon to which built a relationship. If an a unhappy person gets themselves a partner, they are probably just going to be an unhappy person now with what will probably soon turn into an unhappy relationship passed the honeymoon stage. You first need to love yourself properly before you can love anyone else.

I'm so self conscious about my looks that I am frequently looking in mirrors to try and see if there is something I need to fix (this mostly applies to my hair which I'm very self concious about) before someone can see me. And when I'm in school and when my self esteem is low, (low self-esteem brought on by my hair and the clothes I wear) I take paths with less people in order to avoid the eyes of others. But we might not be exactly the same. I am self-conscious about things that can be changed, so I am still hopeful about my situation. Are you hopeful?

There are a lot of issues with public transport though. You are limited to the times the busses or trains arrive, and to where they pick up and drop off. The transport is often very noisy these days. And not only that but it's a lot slower than driving yourself. I think inner city travel could use a lot more public transport if it was improved, I think you are right. I can also offer my perspective (while it may be futile) on one big thing people like you seem to overlook. Male loneliness seems to come from lack of companionship/sex (extrapolating from your videos and elsewhere), while I would argue that female loneliness comes from lack of proper connection with sexual/romantic partners. I'm not sure how to explain it. I don't find myself very attractive, but I know I could find someone out there who wants to have sex with me. That does not comfort me, because I also know people are prone to having sex with corpses, children, objects, etc. What do I and other foids get out of sex? Statistically speaking, its usually not an orgasm (meaning that sex with men is often not pleasurable for women). It's not like sex means someone loves you, likes you, or even views you as human. It's not like sex with a man does ANYTHING for the vast majority of women. What's the point? Why would anyone ever want to put themselves in a position to be used if they didn't get anything out of it (hence why women go to OnlyFans, and the existence of 'golddiggers', etc - at least then we get something out of our interactions with men, i guess.). I would love to be a NEET, at least for a year, I need a large rest and I need time to think about life. The problem is that I'd run out of money pretty quickly. I used to be grateful for my family being safe but now that isn't the case anymore so I'm not sure what to be grateful for. I don't get any exercise outside of work now and my diet is poor so that won't be helping, and I don't see the sun much. I do use my brain all day and it's drained me completely. @@whorephobicwhorehater I don't have any support structure and my parents think money and work should be put before everything else. I think this year my health issues will cause me to drop out of work, it's getting close to that point I can feel it.

If I may ask, what was insightful about 2024 for you? Did you learn something that changed the way you view life? Don't fail, this is the year that you need to do what your heart tells you to do, if you want to be a man of faith that shepherds his flock to salvation then you should go for it, you will thank yourself when you are older.

@@Forsaken.Wanderer I learned that God's values are engraved into the hearts of good men, but this evil world does everything in its power to demoralize us from trusting ourselves, our principles and our wishes. I knew this lesson for a long time, but in 2024, I understood just how deep my demoralization truly went. My mind was totally hardwired to defy, dismiss and deny all that I stood for, instinctively, by habit. I had difficulty applying myself the way I wanted, and was driven by doubt and fear. This year, it's my intention to resist such things and stay true to myself completely.

@@whorephobicwhorehater It does demoralize us doesn't it. They have control of everything so they can hit us from every angle, with adverts showing black men with white women, making basic food too expensive to buy, having auditors at work tell us there are too many white people and that there needs to be more diversity. It eats away at our soul until we are cynical and depressed, and then we give up. I know we need to fight against this, and I hope you are ready to go fully unhinged because I think that is the best defense.

@@mkultrafondler9159 Sorry to hear that man, I feel the same, I don't think it's possible to really be paranoid anymore, you are just reacting to an increasingly hostile world.

@Forsaken.Wanderer True, it’s not like it’s unfounded lol. Just an overwhelming sense that things are about to get much worse. I’d love to be wrong once though. Glad to see you’re still around and popping up in my feed though.
