Просмотров 11 тыс.5 лет назад
Stock Jaguar F Type V6 active exhaust with internal resonators cut out and replaced with 2-inch stainless steel straight pipe.
Sounds just like a v6 Nissan 😂
sounds like a porsche gt3
I wish my made this sound :(
😂😮
Not modified, it sounds like this from factory
Lol I literally documented it here: www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f-type-x152-72/modifying-v6-active-exhaust-222570/
@@DP-cw8imfair enough, I got a manual transmission V6 and it's loud enough especially without fuse 15 and in dynamic mode. What made you want to mod the exhaust? (your link doesn't work here on RUclips)
My F-type R is much louder in sport mode
I have the s v8 and mine still doesn’t have the software update to make it quieter, I couldn’t even imagine if I put on an exhaust or straight piped it.
Horrible filming
sounds like my moms chrysler pacifica
Yeah, no it doesn't
Sydney Olympic park
Me trying to figure out if your from Victoria or not
Haha. Sydney mate
@@DP-cw8im damnit! Haha I’ve got an ftype and have done similar mods just waiting on a VAPtune and a few carbon goodies
Sounds like the current Formula 1 cars😂
Better than the V8
🫥
Nahhhh
@@Evy_SX , yesss.
@@Evy_SXhonestly he's right imo, the ftype is literally the only car I think I've ever seen where the V6 version sounds better and suits the car better than the V8.
V8 all day.... Plus power to match
The exhaust sounds like a drive-by... pardon the pun 😅
I have a V6 but how do I make it sound like this??
Dynamic/sport/paddles but this is modded for that many pops
Yes as he says, dynamic, sport gear, and press gently accel pedal up to 3200 pm and unpress it gently, you’ll see ;)
Please don't
Sounds 'purrrr'fect!
Hey -- what other mods did you do to this OEM V6 base exhaust? It sounds like the flaps/valves are open all the time but is that the only mod you did? I have a local shop that says he can just mod out the OEM exhaust versus installing an entirely new aftermarket. Trying to figure out what to do to make it sound the best

Love it😍 Check my Channel for more F-Type Videos 🥰
Amazing! Sounds awesome 👌🏻
Wow this is awesome! Great content
There is a chance that it is stock because it sounds exactly like my neighbour's and his' is stock :D
See my thread about the mod here: www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f-type-x152-72/modifying-v6-active-exhaust-222570/
Zero chance that it’s stock. I have a 400 sport and heard many other V6s and while the stock sounds amazing, it doesn’t have that many crackles/pops. I prefer the stock sound, personally.
I had the newly developed valvetronic cat back exhaust system from viezu, reckon its the loudest manual V6S 450bhp 600nm in UK.
@@viperx100 thats no vsix thats and SVR producing over a hundred more horsepower.
@@ben-m8p8w400 sport has the 3.0 AJ126. It makes 396hp (400 ps). The base V6/p340 makes 335hp (340 ps). The V6 S/ P380 makes 375 HP (380 PS)
😍
Is your car a base or an S? I’m in the market for one right now. Keep going back and forth between a high ruler mileage S and a lower mileage base with a high option content (active exhaust and sport seats). Yours sounds really good which is why I’m asking. Also Do you have active exhaust?
Base and no active exhaust (the flaps are open all the time). I've never felt the car lacked power. I'd probably go with a lower mileage base with better options. If you really want more power, you can always get a VAP tune that will bring power levels above the S. The engines are identical, the base was simply detuned from the factory.
@@DP-cw8im Thanks for the advice. I think that’s the smarter choice. Do you ever find yourself wishing you had the limited slip diff? I think that’s the one feature of the S that keeps me on the fence the most.
@@sportunage nope. I don't track, drift or auto cross heaps. You'll also find a lot of people have issues with the LSD and for me, it eliminates a costly point of failure. You can also buy an LSD from a wrecked F Type - it bolts straight up.
@@DP-cw8im Very good points.
Sounds great 👍
Did u put an X-pipe on? Also did this cause any problems or lights on the dash?
No x-pipe, no warning lights. See the full procedure here: www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f-type-x152-72/modifying-v6-active-exhaust-222570/
HI DOES YOUR CAR HAVE ACTIVE EXHAUST?And you just cut the resonator inside the muffler box and replace it with straight pipe , right?I wonder if I could keep calm when in comfort mode when the valve is closed.
Its 340hp or S 380?
340hp
@@DP-cw8im I am seriously considering buying one and rescheduling it at 400hp, what do you think friend?¿ sound its the same in 340 and in S 380hp? Thanks.
What have u modified at the exhaust?
Hi, check out my thread on Jaguar Forum: www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f-type-x152-72/modifying-v6-active-exhaust-222570/
I can not understand why you dont film when driving, this tells nothing. We are many that w8ing. PLZ
