Does the app work with the 880+ w wifi device attached?
I would really like to have seen this being demonstrated.
The video is far too fast to read the script in
Great to meet you today. We all learnt so much x
love this
❤
You’ve done an incredible job, love the cushion ❤
❤
Wow! Thank you. Great ideas.
Theae are specified to also fit in the shaft of your L8 overlocker.
Thank you for your comment. If you would like a seam guide for your L8 overlocker we recommend you use the seam guide in the shaft which has both a left and right (L890) options - Hannah
Fantastic 🎉🎉🎉
Lovely! Thank you.
Nice selection of cross stitch designs… will try technique. Thank you.
Thanks for the creative ideas
Brilliant tutorial thank you
Hannah, you are amazing. Thank you. I'm trying the software version now. Please do more of these webinars. You are the best
😊❤
Examples would clarify the narrative.
You need to give a close up on the foot.
Should be 2500 new. People are selling them practically new on Ebay for less than 2000. Then the machines are old also. They are still nice but still old.
What an awesome way to quilt ! Very Cool ! I am watching from the United States months later. I have been doing crumb quilts lately. This technique might be a great addition to a crumb quilt as well as on it’s own . I will give it a try. I love this, so freeing. Thank you so very much ! ! ! ! Have an amazing day ! ❤❤❤
Lovely idea and love the butterfly and I can finally have go with Spanish foot that has being sitting the draw.
A closeup view of the foot as you show the markings would be helpful. Also, if you would please not bounce your hand as you’re showing it. Thank you.
Really interesting to hear about the thought processes behind the quilt ....thank you for sharing 😊
What a cool way to quilt.I was at the festival of quilts, but unfortunately couldn't get anywhere near to see this tutorial. I amvery grateful that it's been uploaded onto RUclips! Thank you 😊
So please you enjoyed it.
Your professionalism is respected...
Very pretty Hannah, thank you so much for you wonderful advice. I’m just wondering what type of elastic you used for the waistband? I’m about to make a pair of pyjamas for the first time, so your video is very helpful 😀🌺🦋 PS. They will be made with flannelette, as we are going into our winter here soon 🇦🇺😃💜
Hi there, happy to hear you find the video helpful! I use a fairly thick 2.5cm/1 inch woven flat elastic. Good luck with your pyjamas they sound cozy :) - Hannah
How do you get around the "blind spot" without going off the rails? That is my problem because with a big quilt you can't just turn the shape around to avoid that spot behind the needle bar. :(
Hi there, could you please confirm what machine you are using? Thanks - Bernina UK
Excellent video, and really appreciated the sub titles. So many U tube videos are useless for the profoundly deaf like me. Now that I know it can be done I shall persist. Thank you.
Great video!!! A question, when you tailor tack your pattern dots with a machine, doe it make it difficult to use the pattern for a second, third, ... pair?
Hi Nancy, I very carefully pull the pattern away and don’t find it a problem. You could always trace the pattern out, cutting out a small hole for the tailor tack to fit in - Hannah
Thank you Hannah for a really interesting video which contained lots of tips. You've inspired me to make a pair of pyjamas. I love all the feet but I’m thinking that the tailor's tack foot might be the next purchase ........ I’ve got a button foot so I’m just wondering if I could use that instead - if I make a longer shank? Then I could buy the piping foot instead!
Hi Carole, thanks for watching and glad we inspired you! You could try using the button sewing on foot with the guide raised to its highest point but I don’t think it would be high enough as it isn’t as high as the guide on the tailor tack foot. We would love to see a photo of your PJ’s if you do make some! - Hannah
I shall do Hannah. That’s will be my next project.
@@carolehale3612 Look forward to seeing them!
Great tutorial, Hannah, thank you. I have the ruffler attachment and have used it successfully. I think I need a tailor tack foot in my life :-)
Thanks for the kind words Bren and glad to hear it! We think you might too ;)
Thank you Hannah - nice video, pretty PJs!
Thanks for watching Gill! The fabric is so lovely isn't it?!
Really enjoyed catching up with your latest webinar. I couldn't watch live as I had a previous commitment. Learned so much from watching especially the foundation paper piecing. Thank you and can we have another webinar soon please!
Thanks Viv - appreciate the kind feedback! Glad you enjoyed and found it useful. Watch this space for our next webinar... :)
FANTASTIC...SO INSPIRING... I have a Bernina 1530 now 27 years old . Used regularly only by me . It replaced my Bernina 830 , the first original College machines. I have over the years taught on a one to one basis , many sewing friends , who are still happily using their Bernina. This is the first time I have watched your live demonstration Hannah , sheer joy, and I shall be using my knee lifter so much more. I look forward to seeing you demonstrate pure silks to improve my skills. I make silk scarves for charity and dear friends. with respect Eileen Birdsall , 2019.
Thank you Eileen, we are so glad you enjoyed your first webinar tutorial! We look forward to having you join us again for the next one. All the best and happy sewing with your Bernina... continue to be inspired :)
Lovely webinar Hannah. Don't forget the wet wipes for the park visits though! LOL.
Thanks Jan! Of course!
Interesting video, thank you. I was sorry not to see it yesterday, but happy that I could catch up today. I have the Spanish Hem Stitch attachment, but have never used it. I will now give it a try. I have never got to grips with foundation piecing, either, but you made it looks so easy, I'll try that, too.
Thank you for the kind feedback Bren! Happy sewing :)
@@BerninaUK Beautiful and practical project and beautifully presented.
@@mopinwil Thank you so much!
What type and size needle did you use for the FPP butterfly?
Hi Jayne, I used a size 80 Universal needle. Thanks, Hannah :)
Thanks
Great webinar sadly I could not get a connection and missed yesterday. Will the pattern be available. Thanks Jan
Hi Jan, very glad you enjoyed our webinar! The pattern will be available soon, we will let everyone know when it is via our newsletter. You can sign up for it here - eepurl.com/c4dyR1
I love the idea of doing a 'horizontal' quilt job like this one Kate. A large wall quilt waiting to be constructed and sewn is a bit overwhelming for me, so this model is much more manageable and enjoyable for me! You have good taste in clothes too; I have some linen pants in the same fabric and colours which I love wearing!
Thanks for watching Joanna! Glad it has inspired you.
What a wonderful way to document a trip.
Agreed :)
very good video
It's a fantastic quilt!
Can you please tell me l own a Bernini 570QE can you tell me does this machine tell me when my bobbin is out of cotton please
Thanks Hannah for a really useful video. Found your tips on appliqueing very helpful. Tempted to buy circular foot now.
Thanks Jane, glad you found it useful.
Brilliant ! The quilt looks amazing. Xx
I have a Bernina 570 QE so which foot would l use please love what your doing
Hi Hazel, Linzi is using Adjustable Ruler Foot #72 with the Echo-quilting Clips - this is the foot you need to use the clips. They are both available from authorised Bernina stockists. Please let us know if we can help further! Bernina UK
This is such a wonderful idea; to record quilters and their stories around particular projects. Mary is delightfully clever and clearly a vibrant member of The Quilters Guild. Top job Mary!
Thank you Diane!! Glad you enjoyed it.
What a great idea to have someone like Mary share her experiences. Both in making this quilt and in how she feels about patchwork and quilting, her life has been are so similar to mine (including using a Bernina 440QE) it's spooky!
Hi Penny, thank you for your feedback! Come back for more Quilting Tales every month :)
I found it very useful listening to Mary explain how she had created the quilt. Thank you
Thank you Jane, we are very glad you found the video useful.
