Firgot to say i use 28psi (2 bar) on my minor with 145x14 radials seems to work ok.

Interesting bit of kit. I have a very old Dunlop Major foot pump that I "acquired" in 1974 that has served me faithfully up to now and is still going strong, so won't need to go modern just yet but it's interesting to see what is out there.

Good video with clear instructions. Like you it was a pain to undo the adaptor to be reused in the new conversion: why there isn't one with the kit I don't understand as it would save a lot of hassle and time.

To easily get the new valve in is to turn it around like a screw. I have tried it.😊

Sadly I lost the recording of the last valve I changed, it went really well. The trick to inserting the new valve was to spay lube the white tube lots, get it aligned, and then shove it in quickly and confidently in one hard action. Thanks for this I am quite impressed. This is a job that I have being getting around to doing for a few years now. I bought some metal coloured valve caps from a 'cheap shop' a number of years ago They actually look great. Unfortunately one of them had a reaction to the metal on the valve stem. In an attempt to remove the cap I damaged the stem. Has thought ,until I saw this that i would have to take the wheel into tyre shop. Probably best not to fit Aluminium coloured (or whatever metal they are made from)valve caps.

Interesting tool. I have always done it by removing the wheel, breaking the bead and fitting the new valve from inside the rim. I'm lucky that I have a bead breaker that I made in the 1970s. This looks far simpler. A late xmas present to me is on the cards I think👍

I fixed mine with flexiband looped over and screwed on the part facing, much quicker and easier

I already had some of the smaller boxes (the one on the top in the set you got) and they're great. Really efficient space to box ratio. Amazon had the bigger boxes you mentioned on sale for $24 usd each on black friday so I grabbed four of those. They're really nice boxes. Thanks for the upload. 🍻

I change the oil on my Moggy for the first time yesterday . It has the paper filter in the housing!!!!! What a nightmare getting it back on.!!!!!!

thanks for the guidance got me sorted!! - I've finally cracked how to use the multimeter after being too scared to try! Also was able to test both old and new sender unit working fine, For me ended up being the cable from tank to dash that was the problem - who knows what happened. Instead I put a length of bell-wire direct from sender to the fuel gauge routed under the carpets and under the dash. Put an inline fuse in. I also rigged up a short cable with spades both ends and plugged directly from sender in my hands toguel guage whilst near the dash - so I could see results straight away.

Another fine video, but again the steering rack is ignored. Access to the nipple is through to passenger side footwell/ firewall and the 'Grease' should be HD90 oil. That's what they put in there in 1951, when my Minor was assembled. Cheers

Thanks for the video just done this on my 1966. I used a S/H unit from a 998 mini. Following your lead it all went well, the hardest part was getting out the old studs. The whole thing took me under an hour. Thanks again.

Good video. Thanks for posting. It was interesting that you had the bolt holes for the front seat belts on your '59 as mine as none of them. The car was a USA import LHD so that might be the reason as only lap belts were required until 1968. I am curious as to why the top hole below the back window was not drilled into the intersection of the pillar and the cross beam below the back window. It would seam that it would be stronger there and flatter. Question, did you put a backing plate in the top hole for the front belts? And if you did, how did you secure them? The video was a little cut off when you were filming that area. Thank you!
