Alexandre desplat simplesmente maravilhoso.
One of my many favourites from the movie. Unbelievably beautiful. No words to describe the hope, the yearning and the darkness of it.
The soundtrack is incredible and is hauntingly beautiful. Alexandre Desplat.....what an amazing composer. The soundtrack plays such an important role in conveying the feelings of the characters and the creation of the masterpieces of art that is only Johannes Vermeer. This movie is unlike any other I’ve ever seen. Screenplay beautifully written, set direction, costumes and actors all brilliantly performed. Bravo, Bravo, Bravo 👏🏻🌹🕊🌺👌🏻

amazing how he managed to convey this happy feeling in the beginning, slowly falling into this really dark and sombre theme right at the end....it really gave its tone to the movie.
haaha mathilde geen nederlands spreken :p toen ik nog in de kleuterschool zat was ze is een verhaaltje bij ons komen voorlezen en ze spreekt tg goed nederlands o.O alleen met frans accentje:p

Vlaanderen onafhankelijk met Nederland als belangrijkste bondgenoot om te beginnen.. & daarna geleidelijk aan (via referendum) een echt Verenigd Koninkrijk der Nederlanden. Terug naar het vroegere model voor dat de Franstaligen Vlaanderen afscheurden van Nederland. Wij zijn na al die jaren nog steeds 1 volk en liever vroeg dan laat dat Nederland zal zeggen ; Welkom thuis Vlamingen, we zijn jullie nooit vergeten !
