I dont know the "exact" current draw anymore. Best if I would have included it in the video. It's a good thing for next builds. But I it doesn't draw a lot of current. I finished the game on battery power. About 2-3 hours of runtime on a 300mah cell.

Its one of the builds I never regret. Still works up to this day.

That's the fun in lipo batteries. With a bit of caution and good planning you can build anything out of them. While back I made a 20A battery pack out of old ebike cells to power my electric gokart haha

@@RobbertDIYprojects thanks for replying fast but how to deal it swelling up within 6 months which can become a fire hazard and cause people life and very unsafe in electric bikes i don't able to find a way to make it as safe as lithium ion battery as lithium polymer have 100% chance of swelling up within 2 years of usage

@lorenzogiovannone5036 swelling of the cells only happens with abuse. Short circuit, to fast charge of discharge. For charging, only charge at 0.5 to 1 c. For instance your pack is 2A your max charge rate is 1 to 2A Never go over 4.2v so use a good BMS Same goes for discharging. Different cells have different discharge rates. This can be fount in de cell specs. If you may draw 10A max. Don't draw more. All these things will be bad for the cell and makes it swell up. When you take care of the cell it will last for a long time.

Zwembad was redelijk goedkoop gezien we een bestaand bad hebben genomen en daar beton tegen aan gegoten. Denk dat de totale kosten van het zwembad rond de 1000 liggen incl graafmachines en beton. De flagstones waren ongeveer 2000 (incl beton fundering) Veranda heb ik voor ongeveer 3 a 400 kunnen doen. Hier hier oude balken uit een woonhuis voor gebruikt en goedkope golfplaten. 150 euro ongeveer voor het bamboe. En totaal denk ik rond de 600 aan kunstbegroeiing,kunstriet en decoratie.

Not needed. Just change the hardware will result in a lot more power. The phones counts down from 100 to 0% just like always since it counts the used energy, Not the actual remaining capacity. But the phone stays on at 1% for the remaining battery capacity. A voltage widget will give you a good indication about the true battery life.

Hi there! That's a good one. Need to look in it why it can't find the device. It's normal that explorer closes after the firmware is uploaded. The device and drive disconnects just like you unplug a usb stick.

Should be no problem. But its pcm audio. So lower quality. Depending on the speaker type you might need an amplifier.

If I remember correct the resistors are 150 ohm. The motor should most likely be ordered online. As a microcontroller, both functions an arduino nano can be used. I used these because I had a few spare haha. Any 12v 2 amp psu will do :D

No phones charge the cells to 4.5-4.6v Those batteries are designed the handle the higher voltage. That's why I use old phone batteries. Lipos like 18650 cant be used. That would be awesome and cheap. Over charging batteries that have a 4.2v max might even catch fire.

Also the battery percentage is always off. The phone doesnt know the battery has a way bigger capacity. Until this day I havent found a solution to change the capacity.

Its possible to power the phone with 18650 cells . But you may NOT use the phone to charge the phone. Example you hook up a big powerbank to the phone battery, use the powerbank charge port instead of the phone. The powerbank stops charging at 4.2v

@@RobbertDIYprojects some phones can re calibrate the battery capacity based on the voltage, the Asus ones I've modified 2 of them both worked well, I've also tried to modify OnePlus which did not work, it will shut down at assumed 0% and when you turn back on it'll continue to work for long time at 1%

@@RobbertDIYprojects what about to use acca app, that can control the max and min voltage, also can manually set the charging current if you used low C high capacity cell (and also to not heat up the phone if you like to charge and use at the same time), the downside is the phone cannot be charged when it's off because the app cannot run in bootloader yet

Natuurlijk. Het principe is heel simpel. Een rocket stove is een bestaande concept. Dat brand super heet en efficient. In mijn geval laat ik een waterleiding om de riser buis (schoorsteen zeg maar) om het water al een beetje te verwarmen. En later loopt het door de riser zelf heen. In principe kan water wat door de rocket stove loopt later door een warmtewisselaar. Ik zou alleen oppassen met een gesloten circuit. Water kan enorm snel het kookpunt bereiken in de rocketstove. Een gesloten circuit door een warmtepomp kan dan exploderen.

No, the internal storage is fully maxed out. It's a miracle the full doom game could fit into that tiny memory space haha

Ik heb gebruik gemaakt van de bestaande betonnen schutting palen. Deze palen zitten diep in de grond. De veranda is direct op de grond opgebouwd. En met bouwen aan de palen bevestigd. De oude bestrating is er nu onderuit. De balken hangen dus in de lucht en enkel aan de schutting palen. Aankomende week worden de flagstones geplaatst. Dan word onder de balken alles vol beton gegoten. Massiever kan denk ik niet haha

Had to quit after the 3th stage when my daughter was born. It became to dangerous haha. Will definitly build a new one in the future. And keep this in mind haha

You can use an step up transformer. For instance from 12v to 400v (or the max your capacitor can handle). It has very low current but perfect for charging capacitors.

Most likely the pin declaration in the pre compiled firmware is different then when using the waveshare board. The firmware need to be modified to run on the waveshare

Add a buzzer between gp7 and gnd. When you power up the pi. The music should start. It will sound horrible without the diode and capacitor. But you recognize the tune

No problem :D glad people can enjoy. There are only two options missing. 1 option to change weapons. Basicly you always use the weapon you pick up. 2 return to the menu. That's where you find the save option. But the memory doesnt have room for safe files anymore tho. Its rammed full of data to run the entire game with original textures on a 2mb memory chip haha.

In the naar future I will build more dedicated classic game consoles. This way they are Cheap and easy to build. Recently I build a huge 7" sega/nes/Atari running on an esp32. I uploaded sonic to the console. Good memories haha. Next I want to build a few similar size to the doom console. Fun to decorate the console depending on the game it runs. Think wolfenstein 3d would also a good retro game :D More ideas are always welcome
