Ooh that plot twist! +chef's kiss+ I love this game, I've played it through four times now 😅, got the alternate ending and almost all the achievments. Now I'm thinking of getting all the 'panic stones' and see what they're all about. This is easily my favorite game right now. But I love Lovecraft and eldritch horror in general so that might be a reason too. Fun fact: in the intro sequence the crimson book is lying on the boat's instrument panel, in the lower right corner, so yeah, you've had it the whole time 😮 I'm so hyped for the dlc too! I loved this playthrough, thank you so much for uploading it and giving me many well needed laughs! ❤

Well done for finishing it! I was very surprised at how brief and ambiguous the ending is (either way), I'm really excited that they are releasing a DLC though, I hope it rounds it out out a bit. Did they give a date? As for next games, I've been really hoping you would jump on the Zelda bandwagon as I'm OBSESSED, but I don't know if you cover Nintendo? Disco Elysium might also be fun. I've only played about half an hour of it but it's got a great cast of actors behind it, really good concept and your actions affect the outcomes etc. Lots of potential for commentary 😉 A livestream one day would also be fun 😀

I tried to play this before I'd really learnt to use the controller and I think my record was immediately somehow snuffing out the torch I had, being in total darkness inside some abandoned building and unable to see anything so immediately dying of exposure. the whole run must have lasted about 3 minutes 😂

You still wake up sometimes, don't you? You wake up in the dark and hear the screaming of the fish....

I found that floating chest by accident, before I found the map pieces. It was a bit disappointing to find the location only to realize I had already looted it 😅

The stellar basin is beautiful but I absolutley hate the way that the bottom just drops into the abyss outside the atoll 😨 So scary! Also, there's something so satisfying about slotting the fish into place in your inventory, especially when you manage to fill every single slot 😆

they should supply you with night vision goggles to watch it 😂 I could barely make out some scenes. It feels a bit like walking through a story (slowly) with a few points of challenge rather than playing a game too, which might be what they're aiming for, but overall, feels a bit style over substance. Confirms my suspicions about how untrustworthy pine cones are tho 🧐

I've started to add the word "maximus" to things I say and I'm blaming you for that 🤣 But I'm not very angry. A little tip, if you want it; I always bring a crab pot with me to use as a mark for interesting islands and such. Makes it a lot easier to find the way back.
