Not a BC Alum but I have been a huge fan of the BC football and basketball programs. In a city known for its professional sports I absolutely love !! But when I tell them BC basketball and football are my #3 and #4 behind the Celtics and Pats they are surprised !!! So thank you for this post ! Fun to watch

This game was a big factor for Maryland installing FieldTurf at Maryland Stadium (formerly Byrd Stadium) for the 2012 season cause the field was chewed up in the final 2 home games. As for the 2011 Terps, like many Maryland fans, we still wanted Ralph Friedgen or coach-in-waiting James Franklin, now at Penn State, to coach the team but wound up with Randy Edsall who at first took the players names off the back of the jerseys, which returned the following year and didn't secure a win for the remainder of the season after defeating Towson to finish 2-10 overall and 1-7 in ACC play.

As much as I love BC, I don’t think this is going to be a pretty year. Lot of holes in the defense that were shown against UMass. Even in the Colgate game the defense at times wasn’t playing well even though they pitched a shut out. I know that doesn’t appear to make sense but when I was at the Colgate game, the BC D-Line was getting pushed back by a very inferior opponent. UMass offense was moving up and down the field in the BC defense. Temple might be a trap game, but I think the Missouri game will be where BC gets really exposed on defense. Hope I am wrong, but I see a 5-7 team, the defense isn’t impressive and the offense is above average at best.
