Im reading a lot of hate against claire and neil in the comments and i just feel like everyone is entitled to their own ships. My opinion though is that Neil and claire had awesome chemistry since season one, more than neil with anyone else. Sure, also Neil and Lim worked good together but i saw them more as best friends energy, they didnt really fit together well as romantic duo, i felt like it was forced only because the characters were attracted to each other and lonely, but their compatibility and history is one of two best friends. Ultimately, i rlly couldnt get over melendez's death, not only because it was unfair to kill off such a monumental character of the series, but also because they dragged claire and neil soooo much onlt to end up not letting us enjoy it for ONE second! They didnt get to say i love you until the very end, and even then, it was way too sad because of his oncoming death. I just found it unfair and triggering, absolutely hated it. So neither of the ships got fulfilled AND we lost a good character. But i guess they had their reasons... Edit: I do see why people ship Lim and Melendez together, I'm not saying it's a crazy ship, I just don't prefer it to Claire and Melendez, I see Lim and Melendez and think of best friends.

I first hated dr.melendez cause he always hated shawn but then when i reached the season 3 tht scene ifykyk not ruining it for those who hasnt seen it I didnt want it to happen and now after seeing the bloopers I am loving his og character dr.lim and dr.melendez looks like grtt funny ppl to be around

Melendez was so understanding no matter the situation, even when he tried to act tough. You could see it in his eyes. He was so caring to Lim and Jessica, the ones who left him. But so rude to the one who actually LOVED him so much. Melendaire forever. But him and Lim were cute too...I mean...Lim says in season 6 that melendez used to take her to the movies to see every spiderman film...since melendez was a resident..

Claire and melendez deserved to have a happy life together.
