Clips open like clam shells. There are “bumps” called clip stations on some snake chain bracelets. There are clips that are not pre-lined with silicone. These go on the bumps. There are bracelets without the bumps. Pre-lined clips work on those. If you want to place an unlined clip on a place without a bump, then you need the inserts she is talking about. However most Pandora stores have them for free. They fit clips, but are too big to put into charms. The purpose of the bumps and clips are to distribute the weight of the charms evenly so the bracelet doesn’t stretch out. (I work at a Pandora store. )

Hi Tina! Great question. Several jewelry boxes is my preferred choice. Simply because number one i'm very picky. My club charm bracelet is in its own box to keep safe and to prevent dings form other jewelry. I also like to separate collections such as Me and Moments. Then in the Moments I kinda separate 14k and two tones from the rose and shine. It doesn't really matter about the materials, its basically dispersing the pieces so they don't scrape against each other. I don't like putting many charms in a compartment. Too expensive to allow scraping. That's why the suede jewelry box is still one of my favorites as i can put one charm per tiny square. My goal for this year is to get three so all three boxes have 3 of the same trays. One more box to get lmao. I'm still waiting for the perfect Pandora jewelry box! How you store is personal preference. XO

Hello, I'm so sorry for getting back to you so late. Life has been crazy. It really got loose after 1 attempt at opening and closing. OMG. I hope you returned it. If not it's not so bad if you can open with a bit of pressure but that is not secure. You may lose it. I honestly have not worn the lock as of yet, but the key yes. The key to me is the most important of this two piece charm as you can wear it on a chain, earring, bracelet (Me and Moments). That is very upsetting to hear. Quality control... I find that if I get one more suede box then I can put 3 charms trays in one, 3 square compartments in one and etc. I'm still waiting for that perfect Pandora jewelry box to come out. I do allow oxidation on the older pieces as yes it does give them depth and a more vintage vibe. Congrats on the two tone bracelet. I remember being so excited when I first got mine. By the larger box you mean the baby pink one? I recommend it as is has a magnetic closure and my pieces oxidize at a slower rate but yes charm bars is the best needed addition to their jewelry boxes. But i am very happy! I have also a smaller green box, a round pink one and one in a shape of a red heart. I love charms and beads so much but also from other brands like Trollbeads, Elfbeads. The silicone stoppers are amazing and if you get 6mm, it shouldn't be a problem, you would just need to trim a bit more. Start with a small amount in case it does not work out.
