I think most of the elevated work ,can definitely be completed by 2027. Because most pillar works have started in all the areas except siruseri side. The work may halt in underground stations like Powerhouse, Mylapore , Adyar etc. Now with the central funding and rainy season in chennai over works will faster. Has around 5 tunnel work is over.but the shaft to remove the machine from ground is not ready. So we can definitely hope for works to go on plan.

And then U connector , track laying , overhead electric and station construction. Infact buildings kuda inum demolish panala for station construction in alwarthirunagar, virugambakkam etc. Sooo long long way

Cmrl gave this reason: " The main reason is the labours, moat of the labours working in metro are bro U.p qnd others states.And during voting most of them went back home and have not come. Main reason is there is metro construction going on in all northern states nowadays so to work so far is difficult for them. And they rather work from there. Second reason the funds to allocate la our is less since the Central didn't give funds the fund deal will be signed only on jan after which from march money will be give to contract more workers. And Last reason since there is less workers all or atleast most of them are working on Porur to ponamalee which is planned to open nxt year. After March most of the area works will start with full workforce soon." This is what i saw in some website cmrl gave.

Because most of the workers are working on opening Porur to ponamalee nxt year. Secondly only 40% of workers are there ,has most of them got work in there hometown in north India metro rail contract. CMRL said most if the new workers are recruited and work will go in full pace from jan after rain.
