thanks for your feedback, i realize now that the 4K footage is actually a bit different for 360 video in that the 4K resolution is distributed over the entire sphere as opposed to for a regular video in which the entire resolution is concentrated in the rectangular window which we are used to. Here is the same video before converted to 360, ruclips.net/video/n7yQdPw7K0A/видео.html It does not appear pixelated, so I am still trying to figure out why the difference in both formats.
