How To Be A Tourist In Cambridge
Просмотров 1148 лет назад
I recently enjoyed a week off work, with nowhere to go but home. The term "staycation" has become a popular one for people wanting to holiday, but may not have the time or budget to take in overseas travel. It basically means enjoying a holiday, even if simply exploring your own back garden - the UK has so much to offer, who needs tropical climates?! I did just this in Cambridge, here are my to...

.Of course 5:24
Ohhh Lleva el zafiro auténtico de Diana 😮
Thanks for you Now I can invite tea party
please do stop talking to kenyatta jomo - isi scott.
Finger sandwiches first, then scones, then cakes... Dunking biscuits are very bad manners.... I know, because i do it !
This video is great! I was just wondering the difference of a traditional afternoon tea for the cream tea
Is the clotted cream sweetened, just curious.
Your name reminds me of a dessert :D
come to Hyderabad, India we got Irani chai and osmani biscuit
Love your dog and great to see he participated in the event.
Awww sweet....ms. Soufflé 💕
Tea and decor looks wonderful. I'm looking for the tea cup strainer. Any suggestions 🤔
Very nice 👍👍
Hi miss sue. I love your video. I watched some of those afternoon tea videos on youtube. I love all of them. Afternoon tea is such a beautiful tradition. May you have a tipp for me... How do i ensure that i can enjoy my tea hot. I love love love to have it hot. In porcelaine temperature goes down quite quickly. For that reason i bought a turkish tea pot. It provides excellent and hot tea. But i ADORE all this china porcelaine tea services too. Do you have some tricks to share... how to serve hot tea with a traditional china porcelaine tea service? Big hug and thank for the lovely video.
Deeping anything in your tea is a no-no for three reasons: 1) we bring food to our mouths not the other way round, as the biscuit gets soggy there is a risk of it breaking or tea dripping midway. It looks disgusting and makes you look like a toddler. 2) you are depreciating the tea you are being served. It shows that either in your opinion it is a cheap tea that requires extra flavour, or you are unable to distinguish good from cheap and it is so that you don't mind tainting good tea with biscuit flavour, you might offend the host. 3) your cup will look a mess in the end. Some people might disinvite you in future just to avoid the tea deeping ritual.
Thank you ! Miss Souflee !
Not using proper etiquette is up to you, but please don’t pretend to teach this as proper etiquette.
As an American, I will take my tea in a mug and I will put my milk in after as I need to gauge the strength of the tea. Honestly, I am just here for the pastries and good conversation. Everything else is of no interest. Except for your awesome looking dog. If the dog just happens to get a bit of scone while we’re chatting, more’s the better.

Your utterly charming and knowing wink says it all : that it's all about having fun alongside good manners . A real pleasure to watch !
Thanks for this! I cant wait to try this!
Thanks.. I was educated.. 😊
I love the little touches which add to the fun of the video, such as the way you wink and your doggie sharing in the fun ! Thank you so much, I'm a fan for life !!

Those nails are atrocious!!!!!
Everyone who owns a dog loves him sipping out of a teacup! People are so very uptight.
Is that Kates engagement ring?
Lovely video, quite comical when you called your fingers sausages! Lol
Where on earth did you learn your table manners from? Having your dog drink out of a saucer that people are going to use in the future is disgusting. I hope you're not still using it.
Never ever smash your butler over the head with a confectionary tray, Always remember to break wind into a hanky in front of guests. Always smash every piece of bone china at the dinner table afterwards. Don't Gallop a horse into the dining Area high on cocaine. Don't say Fuck or Cunt. Never invite the poor or homeless or insensibly Fat to an English tea party. Don't wrestle a local Afghan hound to the ground and arrest it for Bicycle theft. Always leave the premises very angrily with racist disdain. Headbutt Partario Battersby Lillyhammer and Milly Trouther Longshank to thank them for their kind hospitality Always curtsy constantly and apologise constantly while bowing and grovelling constantly, whilst consistently constantly courting crows from Croatia. Never set fire to any beard or eyebrow. Always turn up 4 weeks late for a tea party to make sure you get their early enough. Always laugh at every comment. Never ever ever, never, ever, never ever point at a tea cloth or white napkins, but always wipe your genitals after bathroom breaks with a "red" napkin. I really hope this helps, or I will get very Angry.
Ultra Destruction Agency well, damn, it’s how I live my life... superb advice 😂👌
Allow me to give you an advice of "proper etiquette".. NEVER let your dog eat or drink out of your cups and plates.. NASTY!
Eve agreed, read my other comments below on this, I NEVER usually do this, I was asked to for this video for fun and forever regret that... now, please continue to BE KIND. Thank you.
is this a parody? i'm almost two minutes in and you always put your serviette with the fold towards you, not like this lady says. what on earthy
Stanton just please be kind, particularly at this time - many thanks for stopping by.
I can totally relate to the sausage fingers thing :D That really made me laugh, thank you! I was told to touch my thumb and first finger together into the handle, and use my middle finger to steady the cup. It works well for me!
Lisa Lewis haha enjoy 😉
I am amazed of having do many wrong teachingd about afternoon tea etiquette nowadays including this video!
Jackie it’s simply my take and if you don’t like it, feel free to share your own tips ✨
I have a good question?!
FiPinkin'sup
I love you so much with all my heart napkin
no frills just enjoy tea at time suits you
My friend and I are hosting a tea for the women at church. My big question is, what do you do at teas besides eat and drink? Are there any fun games you play to bring the women together?
Kimberly Glunz I’m sure google is your friend here - I never really played games, but enjoyed playing music/inviting live musicians to play...
Delightful!
Oh my gosh, a zombie tea party?! Yes please!!
Books With B So much blood... so much fun!
I think she made this up herself! afternoon tea!
Didn't warm the tea pot or the tea cups.
How do you know I didn’t warm them up?...
Omg another ridiculous video on how to vandalised the sophisticated and civilised afternoon tea.....take it down
fran mellor Cheers for stopping by Fran and wasting minutes of your life with me - I’m honoured
@@sueflay9922 Do you have any rebuttals? I assume not since you give the same response to everyone that tells you your information is blatantly incorrect.
Gökotta Do you know what? I’m actually grieving currently, following the death of somebody very close to me, so none of this is very important and your rudeness simply isn’t necessary. Please, why can’t people just be nice human beings instead of trolling and just being damn rude?
@@RunninUpThatHillh The comment never corrected her, wich automatically means it's not feedback and it's just destructive opinion. It's just an I-Hate-This-Take-It-Down comment.
Thank for showing me how to stir the sugar in tea.
The dog is so precious...The pinky is never out... yikes... that is worse than the dog licking the plate!! She admitted to being an etiquette rebel. Yes she is, haha!!! Very entertaining... wrong...but entertaining!!!
CC Jones it was gross, I don’t ever allow it - my videographer suggested it - now I get all this hate - it’s not pleasant, I agree.
You lost me when you allowed a dog to slurp in that cup of tea. No thank you.
Patrina Copeland Nah it was gross, I don’t ever allow it - my videographer suggested it - now I get all this hate - it’s not pleasant, I agree.
Patrina Copeland - loosen up! It was a joke!
I loved that the dog was offered some tea!
very nice video and i love the china and also the painting on your wall...who is the artist? is it thomas kinkade by any chance...thanks for sharing
Janet Velazquez thanks so much - Ita by Henderson Cisz
Dunking?. No no no. Tea is not chocolate. It's something delicate, and finding crumbs in your cup it's not really nice.
Good Video. :)
Nice vid. But dunking a biscuit not so good I think. Spoils the tea anyway.
Bluewren Reilly no rules - the tea police wont come get you if you do decide to dunk ; )
