Some snippets of Hayama Shouta's BL talkshow on Niconico "Kissa Amata"! Hayama is one of the few fudanshi seiyuu that liked BL before his career took off btw (since middle school iirc lol)
The second Kumaken clip where they're talking about their favorite types of semes/ukes was a bit difficult for me so if there's any corrections lemme know!
There was a few other clips I wanted to put in, but the video was already long enough. There's definitely enough episodes out there for me to make this into a series, so that'll be on my list. So far, I have another cast talk comp and then an Itoken clip (he hasn't been on this channel for a bit).

This was great, thanks so much for the vid! I end up never listening to these cast talks because my listening isn't the best T_T I'm pretty new to BLCD's (started in April) so I don't even know where to start listening to some older ones with veteran VA's. Do you have any favs from veterans you could rec? Okitsu Kazuyuki is my fav VA like I listen to a lot of his, just to show you what I like XD
Yay I'm glad you liked it! I get you though, there's several parts in each clip where I was just re-listening over and over because I just couldn't catch what they were saying. I think as long as you know some basic Japanese sentence structure and the context of the conversation, it's easier to decipher what they're saying cuz from there, you can just look up specific words you don't understand. Hope this can help with your Japanese learning! I started listening to BLCDs around 2016 ish which might be a generation after what you're talking about? Ig some VAs from before then I can recommend are Terashima Takuma, Tachibana Shinnosuke, Shingaki Tarusuke (love him as Rei from Nu: Carnival), and Morikawa Toshiyuki! Titles with them in it include Sonnani Iunara Daiteraru, Tight Rope, Omoichigai ga Koi no Tane, Shinai Naru Gene e, Eigyou Nika, and Sakurada-senpai Kaizou Keikaku. I've heard a lot of Okitsu's stuff so I can name drop my favorite titles with him in it but you probably might've heard them already (this comment is long enough as is tbh) Sorry for the wall of text lol but I really do appreciate your comment!

Yeah lol I think it's great how he's so invested in BL that he knows about certain parts of the community. He does follow several BL mangakas on Twitter too so he for sure keeps up

Idk if you know but there was something like that with the 2nd Neon Carnival livestream where it was basically the clan members becoming the opposite of themselves. Oli became super aggressive/threatening and Garu and Karu switched personalities. The link I had to watch it got taken down tho😭😭
