Is it ossible to put brushed gold sticker foil on top of it? Will you still see the patern?
@@Yolandi_Malida_Official where would you want to put it?
Why are your product links just to the products Channel? Can’t you put actual links to buy the product?
Hey!! Sorry I just wanted ppl to know what I used.
I used your method by running warm water on the paper and applied it. Worked like a charm! Thank you! Letting it dry over night!
Amazing!!!
Looks good except the pattern needed to be centered
Totally agree
You have the gift and love to transform these sad, forgotten pieces of furniture into unique pieces of art. Thank you, this is so inspiring to watch!! 🎉🎉😊😅 Greetings from Northern Europe!❤❤❤❤🎉
Wow. Very nice 👍👍👍
Wow-stunning❤ Great design choices!
What a well-done video! Your job turned out really nice. I especially like your attention to the routed grooves, though I must say I think once you taped it as well as you did you could have probably used a larger brush to make that refinement go faster and get more paint into those often pretty rough grooves. One last thing: I mean no disrespect, but that table is likely no older than the 80's or 90s, it is definitely NOT from the 1960s and I don't recall that modernistic style in the 1970s, unless closer to 1978 or 79 (possibly). That said, it is definitely vintage and you put new life into it by modernizing the finish! I was SO impressed that you paid attention to those grooves, but they were not cut while the Young Rascals', "Groovin' on a Sunday Afternoon," was released in the 60s. 😺
Omg really!! The more I know!!!😅
So chic.Where is the wallpaper from?
Home depot!
use bindi on chips
Brilliant tutorial that focuses on the techniques and tools, as well as the refurbishment!
Thankyou so much
Amazing! I appreciate the details very much . I'm trying to restore my grandmother's Secretary from over 100 years ago and it really smells ! I had someone sand and now I am hoping to wash it out and then condition the wood. Thank you very much!
I hope it turned out great!!!
Very difficult to hear you
Ah omg I'd love to learn more about this issue
I like the wood grain showing. Great instructions. 👍
That table is pure 1990's. Great transformation.
Beautiful. Wondering why you went up and down in grit when sanding? What's the benefit? Also what brand/color did you use for the deep grooves in the piece? Thanks!
Hello! Up and down? Did I say that? Sorry if that was confusing. In any case when working with veneer you have to be safe and careful with any grit. Starting at 120 or even 150 to see how it reacts
Like your work ethic but you are an awesome lady ❤
Oh thank you!❤❤
Awww thankyou ❤
Got the little table from Goodwill check it out, nicely explained info well done got me to subscribe
Beautiful finish! Very detailed tutorial, and thanks for sharing this! 💯 ❤
I am so happy to have helped!
It’s stunning!!! Beautiful work ❤ The color is exactly what I’m trying to find for my old furniture that I’ve kept from my childhood. Do you mind sharing the color, please?
Hello!! Thank you so much. It was a custom mix of basswood and studio white from behr paint. But im so sorry I didn't get the exact measurements. I may need to go look at past footage and get back to you
@@woodlandsstudio-furniturer237 thats ok! I can play around w those two and mix them. I appreciate you so much for getting back w me. ❤️
Very straightforward and informative!
Thanks!
So sorry about your sister. I got more hardcore about woodworking and decorating after my son died the same way. Looking forward to more of your videos--I like your flips!
It is so hard to loose someone we love to this. I am with you in spirit, and thankyou for the support. ❤️ 💙 💜
Beautiful. Iam wondering if I could do. This. To my kitchen cabinets. What do you think
Oh for sure! Once you sand you can paint wash with any color to get that weathered look. It would be rustic chic. Just make sure to use a clear bonding primer because cabinets get alot of use. Country chic paint sells one. Then apply your paint wash.
I always hand sand any veneer , takes more time but never burn through
That's wild!!!! Tom, you have the patience of a Saint!!!
Congratulations!!! From Argentina
Thankyou!
Much appreciated - to see this video is very useful.
Glad it was helpful!
Can I hire you to furnish my home? Well done. 😼Really appreciated this clip. Great tips. Finished product is A++ 😼

Looks very nice. I have a table similar to it and wanted to do the same thing.
Amazing! If you need any pointers just reach out. I'm also on IG The_woodlands_studio
Wow.. this is not an easy job!! It's truly amazing how you turn a already new table into a better looking newer table 🤩This video really inspired me a lot! Thnx for sharing
I'm so so glad this inspired you!!! It does take time but it's honestly not hard, just time consuming and a lot of patience lol. I just started flipping at the beginning of 2021!
This is so wonderful to see. Thank you. I have one cabinet made of teak which needs work, so this is very helpful.
Amazing! I'm glad to help out!!
Love this. 💚 Thank you. Well done...... you are brave. You are making a difference. You've made a difference to me. Oh, and Hullo Oli!
Thank-you ❤️
Very well done. Who would have thunk that paint can be used to stain? I'm not believing it. 🥰 Finished product looks awesome.
Haha yes!!! It's possible!!
Well done! Coating choice and execution. I like solid wood, but all the aging yellow-reddish wood colors around grow old and routinely boring, kind of depressing even when it's everywhere. Most regular stains available in shops just replicate the 50yo "make it warmer" looks. It had to stop, it's too warm already. Also not a fan of full paint coating on some pieces. Slightly colder tints, widening of the color gamut is all I was looking for. I went with clear satin coat on lighter and more diverse wood for now. Was considering something like this - with light pigment from other sources. And found my answer here 👍
I'm so happy you found your answer!! Thankyou for watching.
So beautiful! I love the color you chose!
Thankyou so much!!!!
You did an amazing job! I learned so much, cant wait to try this on a table I purchased from Goodwill! :)
Oh wow I'm so glad this has helped you! Yay!!! My first on YT.
It looks awesome!!!
Thankyou ❤️ ❤️
Great delivery. Lots of useful nuggets of information. Awesome final product.
Glad it was helpful!
Wow… so informative!
Glad you think so!
Thank you for these superb tips on how to refinish old pieces of furniture. I have attempted, in the past, to revive antique pieces of my own only for them to become dull and lifeless looking after a few months. I need an automatic polisher and sander! Keep up the great work! :)
Ooo the dullness can definitely happen. All it needs is a good polish refreshing! Hemp oil is a great product to protect and then to maintain a Lustre a product like feed n wax works great!
Wonderful hon. Keep the creative juices flowing.... 💚
It's beautiful now . Amazing
Right??? It took a lot of work but I'm thrilled. It's so dreamy
I'm from Denmark, and excited for this one! You can find tons of gorgeous midcentury furniture for pennies in danish thrift stores, something I really miss since moving to the US. But I suppose we all thought it was pain & boring, as teens. Still wish I could pick up a bunch of these pieces, when visiting, but it's hard to ship. These beautiful originals usually sat in the same house for decades, and are typically in truly amazing condition! :) I wouldn't touch any of it, lol. Funny how you learn to appreciate something, but only after it's too late...
Oh wow your family must have SO many treasures!!! People moon over Danish furniture here in Canada and the US
