these are great little pipe jacks, well made! My 1st 4 were the 'lo' ones, soon after I bought 8 'tall' ones.I do repair welding on agricultural equipment, these things have made field-work SO much better!!

Placing a car on these would be insanity.. That flat washer lock is not designed for holding up a car, weight rating be damned!

Really interested to see your custom bumpers, but most interested in seeing how your roof-rack looks when you'r done with it. I think your cooler/fuel can swing-out arm and spare tire arm look great! Keep us updated, Jason.

Do you have more videos of your FJ40 project since your intro a full year ago? Would love to see this project continue to progress, as you are doing some great work!

This just popped up on my YT feed and I'm glad I watched it. Some really great thinking and planning going on in this project! I can't wait to see if you have posted more vids on the rest of your work, since this one is now one year old. Worst decision I ever made was selling my '81 FJ40 back in the early '90s. It was in near mint condition with no modifications and I can't begin to imagine what's been done to it since I sold it. Anyway, keep up the great work!

Nice 🔥 I've been dealing with my fj40 for years, its a 70, my grandpa's, I learned to drive it with a 3 on the tree. Put a sm420 wanted an nv4500 but $$$'s and time. Your build is sweet. Looking at trying that same roll cage, but wondering if it works. My hard top burned with my house. Wiring harnesses and all sorts of parts. But working back. Would you use that metal tech cage again?

Really cool FJ40. Also curious to see when done. Not many FJ40s on coil springs out there. Nice!!!!

Great Video and beast project. I would recommend you to post that also on *IH8MUD* website cuz it has a great community also many ppl around the world gather to share their experience with their own FJ's project. All the best in your project I hope it turns well as you wish.

Thanks! Yes, I do need to post there. I have been lurking at IH8MUD for a couple of decades thinking about what I wanted to do with my build and have gained a lot of knowledge from that site. Thanks for the support.
