If u still havent found the answer. Ur problem is that ur faceplate srews are stipped. Which means u need a new facplate and screws. Plus new analog stick. I just replaced my faceplate and analog stick n now it works perfectly so its like a 20 fix maybe less. It really depends on what all u buy. Goto Amazon.com n buy it there everything is reliable there.

your psp is software problem i think ur psp is fully bricked because you wont able go to recovery mode i have the same problem bro

nope, found out it's actually a faulty power switch. after several uses, the button may become faulty and register a slide when you never pressed the slider. the best solution is to find the sweet spot between the lock and unlock switch to make sure the button can't slide anywhere.

I have a similar problem. As I put the battery or power plug the green led light stays on always and if I move the switch to power on the psp nothing happens on screen and no sound, it is just green light. And it does not charge the battery, I charged it on another psp... Already done some of the suggestions. no improvements so far... thanks
