Trying to settle back into the groove of things as spring draws rapidly closer. I'm itching to get back out in the garden, and part of prepping for that is seeds!

I let the weeds get ahead of me. I am now highly motivated to make sure that doesn't happen again. So with that in mind, i gave the whole in-ground garden bed a good covering of mulch. Plus, some of the produce is starting to come in, so i end the video with a little walk-around. Enjoy!

This was a big old project, and i only captured bits of it here and there! There was so much more work that my friends put in behind the scenes to make this whole thing work out. In part 1 here we cut and removed sod (not turf), hauled off white rock, and busted up some gnarly sidewalks all in preparation for everything to come in part 2 and more! Hope you enjoy. :)

So so much got done over a couple days here! Finally removed my original garden bed to make room for my new in-ground garden bed prepped and ready for crops! Also got some new cattle panel trellises in place to finally get that arching look i've been wanting. Very happy with the progress, but there's always more to do, so stay tuned!!

There's a small section of sparse grass and weeds behind the church that we gave a little attention to in today's video. A lot of steps, a lot of heavy labor, but the outcome is a section that is clean, tidy, and ready for future plantings one day! Very happy with the results. Enjoy the satisfying footage!

This was a big project that took quite a bit of time and effort! A lot of sweat and tears went into this (but thankfully no blood), and i'm very happy with the results! Give it 5-10 years and these little guys will be making a beautiful impact at the church Lord willing!! :)

Hot diggity dog! Enjoyed that short little snippet of the dog pulling up some corn for herself to play with haha looks like you found a few little missed goodies from last season in your beds, the pitchfork is an interesting idea for turning soil! Looks a little nicer and easier way to do it. Maybe in future you can edit out the background wind sound? I am listening on headphones and it's just a not a sound I always enjoy while watching a well edited video. Would love some tunes (wink wink nudge nudge) Just food for thought! But oh my word! 30 garter snakes!!! Yikes!!! Ditto they creep me out too.
She's a hoot for sure, we'll see how she does outside in the summer heat! Yes, extra carrots and potatoes left in the beds from last year. Part of my goal this year is to be more diligent about harvesting and preserving all my produce. 🙌 And the pitchfork works a treat, highly recommend. The wind is tricky, music definitely helps cover it up. Fear not, there will be more groovy tunes in the future. 🕺 And finally, yes-- down with the snakes! 🚫🐍🚫 Thanks for the lovely comment!
Wow the beautiful bells in the background are so cool! But again you got great music choices for your videos! This video must have been so satisfying to watch those weeds just disappear and the little plants be revealed. When I was a kid and my mom had a monster of a garden we are on weed duty - weed one row a day and the rows were long! So by the end of it we always had a few rows that looked like this too and looking back at a finished and cleaned up row is just pure satisfying! 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
