Baltic Classic Circuit: Three City Cooperation News Report
The Scandinavian Classic Yacht Trust, SCYT, and the Saint Petersburg Yacht Club have joined forces and will work together to attract international classic yachts to race in the Baltic. Their mission is create a circuit similar to the Mediterranean. The intention is to create three classic week city events in Stockholm, Saint Petersburg and Helsinki in 2013. Saint Petersburg is first, launching its 2012 classic week starting August 15, 2012. Restrictions for foreign yachts have been lifted and all you need is a Russian visa and yacht registration with the club. Contact ahoy@sailtrust.org

Sjögårdsregattan Stockholm Classic Yacht Race

Conditions were extremely cold, windy and wet when the new Stockholm City Classic Regatta, Sjögårdsregattan, had its premier, June 2nd. Only two of 17 yachts completed the race. The winner was Winnie KR S120 with the folkboat F100 Antigiua second. Sjögårdsregattan is part of the Baltic Classic Circuit.
