Can you imagine teaching WWII and GI Bill and not mentioning that 1 million Black veteran were excluded. There is a bill in the house and senate to change this. I got into a twitter back and forth with Chris Bourg. At one point I mentioned : "I am sure there must of been great visible minority candidates that applied for the director of libraries position. Imagine how amazing it would be if YOU , as a white person, took a stand and rejected YOUR newly appointed prestigious position and gave it to a visible minority ! Imagine the headlines ! Imagine the praise ! So, will you give up your position? YES or No?" She tried to run around the question, each time I replied. " It is simple Yes or No ? " All her fellow white liberal library people were replying " Don't listen to him" , "block him" , "stop interacting with him". Bunch of hypocrites !

Talks about lack of diversity in tech and POC in the system but then THE WHITE PERSON takes the position of Director of Libraries at MIT ! In other words : " hey we have to let more POC in here, but not me , I keep my high status position, but you..you should give up yours" . What a hypocrite ! Entire speech is a mess. Btw she knows jack $hit about what men actually do when they are together.

She managed to fit every single SJW complaint in one useless banter. "Anything I said inspires a thoughtful comment ? POC and women get a first shot " ????? and that is when M.I.T realized they gone and f#%ked up ! lol what a cringe fest ! What a mess !

I wonder how she got the job as Director of Libraries at MIT. I can not see how she represents the core values of MIT, which are routet in scientific and technical excellence. In her position she controls the platform for future knowledge exchange at one of the core institutions in the country. Instead of supporting scientific excellence her perspective seems to more routet in feministic dogma, which determines her world view and things she does and says. She probably would be even the first to admit that ("feminist perspective to libraries" - using it as if it is a field!), as she admits that she can not talk about the open global knowledge Plattform that MIT plans (which would have been really interesting to hear about). Her vision for libraries is to take down Star Trek posters. Seriously? Without the context of scientific and technical excellence? What happend to the Institution that produced Vannevar Bush and Claude Shannon? I am not aware that the feminist perspective and behavior has a scientific foundation which fits the MIT perspective. I wonder what MIT Faculty or staff in the Library has to say about this? Is MIT satisfied with her leadership? The problem with any kind of criticism is that it can and will be blamed on "white", "male", or similar perspective. Because technical or scientific excellence - as interpreted by MIT - is only an expression of the "white" and "male" perspective and a tool for oppression. That arguments makes her unfirable, so I wonder how MIT is getting out of that trap. Unless MIT doesn't want to, then I would think her social justice agenda sets her up against the majority of the faculty, male and female. Or is everything OK in great agreement and it works fine? I keep observing how much damage she does to MIT.
