Almost forgotten performance. I bought a Krupa "greatest hits" CD back about 25 years ago or I never would have heard of this. I've clocked the tempo at about 280 per quarter note. And the combo is tight through the whole thing.

Just goes to show back in 1959 Hollywood was producing the gene Krupa story with the late sal mineo portraying gene. Many many years have gone by but the solid drumming still has that fire and excitement. Always admired the way Krupa kept you wanting more. Krupa like Buddy Rich max roach Louie bellson always kept you coming back for more
