I review and offer my thoughts on my Chinese import mini excavator. This excavator has a Kubota D1105 diesel engine, swivel boom, expanding tracks, and hydraulic thumb. Very similar to a Kymron and a Groundhog.

In this video I test out the auger attachment on my mini skid steer. Like usual it has its issues but eventually works. This time they stripped out the hydraulic fitting for the case drain going into the motor. We got it working but there seams to always be an issue with these Chinese machines. Kymron and groundhog equivalent machine imported directly from China

Testing the trencher on the Chinese mini skid steer plus some electrical issues I had, and adding ballast weight! This unit is similar to a Kymron and Groundhog. Powered by a 23 Hp vanguard Briggs and Stratton engine. It has 3 pumps for multi function with ease!

i almost bought a chinese one then i found the wacker neuson sm60 for 26500 in ga with forks and nice toothed bucket thing is fuel injected and will move 1000 lbs

I have a very similar model. The fittings above the engine leak into the exhaust. Cheap fittings and threads. I spent $5k and you're right, when it works, it's great; but it only works half the time.
Yeah, it’s not an amazing machine, but it does beat doing the work by hand…

Pack rags in it, tap it NPT, then get the tapered pipe thread fitting from a hydraulic supply shop.

Put grease on the raga when packing so when you pull out the rags the shavings stick to them

Yeah they do, typically the ones under 2 tons are gas powered.

Re-drill & tap to next largest size then use a reducer. This is not rocket science. If your technical skill is insufficient, buy American as it is both built and priced for idiots. repair cost $10 saving on machine $20000.
Obviously it’s a simple fix by doing that, but it shouldn’t come stripped out, and the company warranties it’s product for a year, so it’s worth testing that warranty… and letting everyone know how that goes…

It sure shouldn’t. It’s made for vinyl. Most black vinyl windows are just painted black on the outside as well. Nothing special about the big box options.

@@adVANturers I also bought one from them. A 1.5 ton. I only have 28 hours on it. Many small issues easily fixed issues, but overall it's been working ok so far.

Where do you source parts? I need my whole under carriage replaced. Employees wiped out everything in 300 hrs. The sprockets are mint tho. I bought mine during Covid. Cost me $15,000 and I have no idea what parts are or where to get them. But all my idlers are just cream puffed

Not sure if anyone pointed it out but looks like the plate was digging into the ground and that was what was stopping you from going back. Try to angle the nose of the trencher down more

Hi!! Curious about the recessed shower pan. Did you have to cut large hole in the van floor to make it fit? So that’s it recessed?
I cut a while is the flooring, not the van floor though. I have an inch of rigid insulation under the floor so there was room to make it work recessed in the inch and a bit of space we had.

Did you ever have a problem with the mini skedsteer not lifting? Because I have one and is not lifting at times everything else works fine
No I haven’t had that issue as of yet. That’s a bummer.
Have you checked the level of your hydraulic fluid? If you have adequate fluid, then you might want to consider changing it out. After changing the fluid if it continues to not lift, it’s a bypass problem either at the cylinder or at the controls.

I got 2 from them and both has capacity problem. Fully charge them fully, use 185w battery tester with 12.8v limit setting. It only last for under an hour

Thank you very much for the information, I work in construction and I was about to buy one of those, they are cheap but I think that cheap is expensive and I better bought an expensive but much better ditch Witch.
Of you depend on it for you job it probably makes sense to get a more reliable but expensive machine.
I owned two Sk650 ditch witch mini's. They're great until you have to work on them. Unless it's a bucket or hydraulic hose you're buying parts from ditch witch and they're not cheap. The other thing is, they're a bear to work on. Mine were kubota 3cyl diesels. Access to belts or anything coolant related will make you hate life if you have to work on them. Just some food for thought.
