It seems like the Kusafiri Coffee Shop (and some other places in Animal Kingdom, which you mentioned in another video) are no longer qualifying for a quick service meal. Do you perhaps have more information about that?

You keep talking about Polite Pig as if it was a full dining credit. It isn't. It's quick service - and there are dishes in there that are $22 odd! So you absolutely CAN go and eat there. My favourite on the menu is a chicken wrap, but that's only $12 so I wouldn't waste a credit on that.

Not horrible could have been worse. Could have gotten the incredibles treatment like the main tower. It’s noticeable that they just used leftovers from the poly with that teal green tile in the kitchen and the wood color. Looks exactly like the poly. Could they not have come up with a unique color pallet and finishes for bay lake? I am sure the average guest won’t notice but just an observation.

I’m curious about costs for each part of the trip. Is January (or whenever you go) off peak pricing? A breakdown of your available DVC points, what you had to use to stay at boardwalk, poly, GF, and if that used up all your points for the year, etc. Also… just how much PTO do you have? Lol Did you get Disney-ed out after 2+ weeks in the bubble? Thanks!

Update: Blaze Pizza has added a kids menu to their options so you cannot pick any pizza with a childs meal credit anymore

Does this IMAX do screenings of IMAX reruns? Does it rerun Nolan films?

Nothing amazing but definitely an improvement over the old rooms. The old rooms would’ve been ok if the price was cheaper but both bay lake and contemporary are way overpriced imo.

The lack of immersion, pool is terrible, nothing to do, where is the water?, retail, lobby is a bit bland, feels bland, Disney slept on making this one. Guess my discussion is made for me.

Glad this resort is getting its much-needed TLC. Stayed there in October 2024 and we saw construction workers everyday hauling the old artwork and mattresses out.

Looks like the kitchen may have been given a downgrade in materials. The rest of the room looks great.

I got hit with a mandatory $80 tip at crystal palace because our party size was 6. I did not consider any of that when we were planning our trip... and it happened at a few $$$$ buffets.

Removing storage in the main room where there are 2 beds is annoying. Where are people sleeping in this space supposed to store their clothes, in the kitchen cabinets? 😔.

Does the small chair in the living room still pull out to a bed in the 1 BR?

There are some pictures of a 2 bedroom towards the end of this video as well. I placed duplicate pictures in this video because I LOVE the resort music and wanted to keep it going :). What do you guys think of the refurb?

I have tempered feelings about this. I like the overall redesign. Defnitely a lot more subtle, which I prefer. I like the splashes of color. But a shower curtain in the 2nd bath? C'mon! And also, I would have like to see more subtle accent stuff like nice crown molding, or a nice "backsplash" behind the TVs like they do in the newer resorts (I don't know what to call it).

Room looks great and I love the art! I wish the Soda's had included photos of the art behind the Queen and Twin Murphy beds, but grateful to have any pics at all - even with the apathetic teens on their devices! 😆❤

Pretty sure I saw the 2nd bedroom in a 2 BR and at least 3 different bathrooms? This video was a little all over the place. And quite repetitive.

Splashes of color throughout the room are a nice change from the recent Disney beige theme.

The pool would not look out of place at a nice Hampton Inn.

Another downgrade? Same with the trio at Columbia Harbour house..

The Garden Terrace’s will be very valuable to people staying in standard view rooms. Good on Disney for making those.
