I would recommend getting someone professional to do this while you stand by wait and/ or get coffee. However there is not always someone available and we are all required to have the spare bulbs in the car, so this might help some people.
Firstly get the car in a safe place to work on. Park brake on and ignition off. Actually pulling the bulb out and pushing back in takes a degree of force (known as interference fit) there is no twisting, it just needs a straight pull/push in the correct position.
