Yes method is applicable for mod 6 also . You have to take the sequence from 0 to 5.

During hexadecimal subtraction by mistake I considered 14 which needs to be 16+ 2 = 18 & answer should be 2999.

If For the sequence like ....3,4,5,6,7,8,3.... Can it will work?for that we will required 4 f/fs right and for solving equations of each f/fs we have to use 4 variable k map which have 16 states in which all other than sequence will be don't care ryt?

this will be a mod 7 counter as there are 7 different states. you taught wrong. i verified with gate smasher video.
Hey it’s the time you should refer some good book for this. Reason why it’s mod-8 because people don’t count that sequence is also coming back to zero. That’s why I add one in the highest value. It’s not wrong it’s just you don’t trust my video over them. Kindly refer some good book to verify this.

I understood everything easily .Thanks for the video.But one thing that i wanted to ask is that in the video for asyn mod 10.You told to apply 1 bits to nand gates but whats the matter here
Because here we are not breaking the sequence. We are counting all the states.
