time flies and so do birds

At the top of the park, or any ridge line, the view can be nice as ravens often cruise around just below, riding the wind as it blows up the mountain

I'd see them playing in the wind on my many hikes in Griffith Park. The more I stopped to watch them, the more I saw the complexity of their interaction with each other, and what seemed to me to be an enjoyment of flying. Ravens would often rise up on a draft of wind and then do a barrel-roll as they plunged downward -- sometimes with each other, sometimes just on their own. I'd see them pick up small objects, then release them in the wind and chase after them, etc. The more I watched the more I saw. It just grew from there!

Hey - thanks! Glad you like them! I appreciate you watching them. Sure, I’ll do a ROTW in real time for you, soon as I decide on some footage that would work well for that. The slo-mo works well with music and allows people to see more clearly some of their acrobatic moves and bird-to-bird interactions. But real-time is great. I’ll consider using more of it my ongoing vids. Thanks for the input!

@@earthtone132 I will most certainly keep it up! I think I'd do this even if nobody watched them, but even a few people occasionally sharing the appreciation for how beautiful and free they are is worth it.
