This song was incredible! Written by Emily Ann and she sang it at the Grand Old Opry tonight! A standing ovation was given after her performance.
Larry Gibson Flintlock Muzzleloader Turkey hunt
Просмотров 7 тыс.12 лет назад
This was my first Turkey Hunt with my Flintlock Muzzleloader that I built over the winter. It is a .54 cal/ 28 gauge. This was 65 grains of black powder, 1 3/8 oz #6, with a over powder card, 1/2" lubed felt undershot wad and overshot card. My gun is rifled with straight rifling so I can shoot both ball and shot, but gain more accuracy and distance when shooting ball... Works well.
Ur finger is behind the trigger won't let it cock
I had an issue with my timing when I got my pug. But the company was so easy to work with and they fixed everything for free.
Got 2 pugs and a swing out cylinder model . Never had any issues with any of them !
Good for you! Good company just a bad cylinder… NAA made it right!
I am having the same issue
I had to send mine back twice and still had problems. The took it back and BUILT my a black widow wand allowed me to "number" it. So it's serial number is cappy 1 My grandfather name! Lol. Nice of them however... good company but have some quality issues
What was the manufacturer defect? These pistols are picky, I did read that you’re using the correct ammo, but either way if the cases are bulging out the back, they’re slowing the timing. And jamming the cylinder.
Probably wrong ammunition there not designed to shoot all ammunition
Nope, not the problem. I have 6 of these guns now and are very aware of the ammo needed for firing. This particular Gun went back to NAA twice with an ultimate fix of a new cylinder. All good afterwards.
It's the ammo you can't use high velocity ammo in these NAA mini pistols. use only ammo that is 1875 fps or less velocity and problem solved.
Nope, please read my reply. NOT the ammo. Not high velocity rounds. It was a manufactured defect.
Mine is worse , it locks the hammer when it’s cocked . Trigger pull does nothin. When i was at the range it did it and even the RSO couldn’t fix it so everyone was walking with it like it was a grenade fixin to go off any second
Hey man, NAA will fix it, I promise. It’s a great company with good products. They will make it right… easy to do.
@@gobbletn that’s the issue , iv sent it to be fixed before . They sent it back and it still does it
@@gobbletn so i paid shipping for nothing
That's terrible. I would call them tomorrow. Seriously, explain everything...
That happen to me after, I pushed as hard as I could for like 1min and it finally dropped the hammer. It was scary. What causes that ?
The cylinder lock spring has to much tinchion on it,tack the grip off and bend the round spring down a little to set the tenchion on the foot
My 22lr naa revolver does this you gotta manually spin the cylinder abit cause sometimes it gets hung up on itself internally as it's a single action revolver
No, not 5he problem. See my reply. It went back to NAA they had to replace they cylinder. Trust me, I tried everything… thanks
I bet you took that apart and didn't put back the right way 😂
I bet not…. NAA replaced a faulty cylinder
Это тот короткоствол, который полезен)
Please translate
@IM SORRY GOOGLE google sucks
It's NOT for sale... sorry
can i order?
I don't understand? " can I order"????
I mean can I buy it?
why is it so l o u d
Lol... it's a short barreled 22 Mag. Ever shot one? They are a little loud.
@@gobbletn Guess size really matters not!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😜 let’s hope not! Lol
Snubby barrel that's why. Fire those rounds out of a rifle it won't be as loud as that
They sound almost as loud as a 9mm pistol w their 1" barrels. Looms pretty cool at sunset with a half foot a flame shooting out.
They fixed it for free... good company in that respect. They have very good customer relations
I bought a used one. 22 mag it had some issues. Ammo sensitive. I sent it to them and they changed the cylinder and one of the springs and I went to the nickel case ammo. That fixed my problem. I wasn't the original buyer. They still fixed for free. Absolutely fabulous customer service.
Can I order only 1 unit
Can I buy 1 unit
Hello I get the same problems with my 44 mag single action I was worried I bought a bad gun but its probably nothing wrong with your gun my issue was bad ammo the quality control on the ammo is not good.
So it's not the same problem...
I can tell you exactly what that issue is and how to solve it so first off read the manual for you specific naa gun and see what it says on what ammo you should and should not use basically this issue seen here is just hot ammo pressures are high or manufacture has different brass tolerance and causing the primer to be hit to hard and causing rear of the casing to misshapen and lift causing it to hang up on the cylinder and keeps it from rotating. Basically use different ammo
ciggyboy760....... I tried that. The gun went back to NAA twice. The fix was a new cylinder. I have 5 of these guns and am very aware of shell pressures. But thanks for your help...
*cough*
Your time is off send it in fix for FREE
Sent it back two times. A cylinder replacement was needed for a permanent fix...
Did they fix it for free?
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Never underestimate the reliability and performance of a good ole flintlock. Congratulations bud. That’s one of the best feelings in the world.
Damn! I just bought one today with the problem of not being able to cock it after closing it. Once closed I have to rotate my cylinder. Maybe I will have to drive down to Provo, Utah to see whats up.
I Have the same problem.
I’m having the same issue with a Pug. It has around 300 rounds through it. Will be sending it in for repair.
Paul Colburn send it back. Eventually they will get it right with a PUG. they had my PUG once and after a new cylinder and some tinkering from their tech guys it works... just frustrating when you have to send them in but NAA has been prompt and courteous in their dealings... good luck
I’ve had to send a few back for work. Not really “repair” but continue the build correctly. Sometimes QC is left to the buyer, but that’s just the way these little guns seem to be. Well made just VERY finicky! I keep a few on hand just could not rely on the Ranger 2. Too many moving parts for my liking.
The current Owners consensus of the problem is a heavy grease used by the factory combined with sharp edges of the newly produced gun - The fix is to remove the grips and spray the internals out with carb cleaner or break cleaner , let dry thoroughly and re oil with a quality gun oil and work the action for a bit .......... keep in mind the cleaners will destroy the finish of the grips keep them far removed from the cleaners and let the cleaners evaporate first
flyinbiker2001 it was much more than that. Went to NAA twice to “fix”.... immediately sold it. A cute novelty gun, but not the same quality as their other products... I have many NAA’s but could not justify keeping this one.
gobbletn .... I received my Ranger today and the Quality is over the top remarkable , I put 200 rounds through it and it functioned flawlessly , Sorry to hear yours did not work as well perhaps the early teething problems have been cured
@@flyinbiker2001 I just bought mine today. Haven't fired yet but function is fine .
@@larryalexander4833 cool enjoy
@@flyinbiker2001 hope never have use it but better to have one these than nothing
Just got one and it's having the same problem. It is a low ser# wonder if it was fixed on higher ser#'s. Mine is under 210. What are the no. Of some of you guys that have no problems?
Are you still having problems? I just purchased one and was having issues when i thought hammer was all the way down but release was still able to be actuated. When i made sure could not be actuated, it has worked every time.
I sent this in for repairs. Received it back and quickly sold it without a round being fired. Just too expensive for me to be a safe queen or always at the Dr.
I have 3 of them and all of them were doing it when I first got them. After playing with it and firing it later, the problems went away.
Hey all.... to clarify with everyone... the breach latch was fully closed... it’s just the light in my shop making it appear to not be fully closed. I have contacted NAA, received my FedX shipping slip, filled out my return work order sheet, made another DETAILED description of the problem and it was shipped back to NAA on Thursday afternoon. I will update any correspondence I receive or any updates after it is shipped back. PLEASE understand, this is not a user or lubing issue.
Please up date this here
Leigh Rich ..... hey Leigh. It has been sent back to NAA. I will keep everyone updated once I have the gun back or they contact me. Thanks
It’s already been released to the public.... that’s why it’s so important to get these problems fixed ASAP... This is not a user issue. It is the gun. Plain and simple. If I hand this to someone, they should be able to pull the hammer back and pull the trigger... Agreed? One should not have to manipulate a revolver to make it work... I’ll be the first to clean, oil, and properly break in a gun but this is far more than that... on the 3rd hammer pull it locked up.... Sorry it’s headed back to NAA...
It ain’t me
you might not letting the hammer all the way down every time and it might throw it "out of sync" or something--
jennings flippen ... I went back and tried making sure it was all the way down... it was. It makes a different mechanical sound Cocking through the different cylinders...
Are you still having problems? I just bought one and was having the same problem. I think this guy is right. If the hammer is all the way down; you should not be able to release the break top button. I thought i had the hammer all the way down but was able to actuate the breaktop button and thats when i was having the issues. But when i made sure the button could not release when hammer was down, worked every time (about 100 in a row but still testing.
Update..latch opens every time when hammer is down when loaded. It should only be opening when half cocked. Not happy with it
no problem with mine --used the yellow wall anchors as a "shell" and dry fired the heck out of it---haven't fired it yet---cocking the hammer is much stiffer than the other naa pistols---but so far happy with the Ranger
jennings flippen ... happy for you!!!
Can you check to see if the latch that holds the breach closed is tight? It looks like it might be a tad disconnected, or maybe it's a trick of the light.
Half-Cocked Reviews I guess it’s the light... YES it is closed tight...
Well that's good. I guess. The tolerances on these little beasts is pretty tight. Probably something that's just offa tiny bit. Frustrating.
Could be you.
Leigh Rich.... “It could be you”??? Meaning? It’s not me. I build longrifles, have rebuilt locks for them many times... this is not me I can assure you.
I am kitchen table gunsmith too. Built BP pistols, flint lock rifles, AKs and AR 15's. My Ranger 2 works . Maybe you got a defect. So send it in. We are bata testers with the early birds.
Pos, get your money back ASAP!
Baldi Locks I will see what the factory says. They are a great company, this is actually an “early bird” production so hopefully they can use this info to help production problems going forward.
Carl Gibson I love NAA but this is totally unacceptable and I’d be mad as hell! They should recall all of these and don’t send them back out until they are right and give all original buyers a merchandise credit of some sort for their trouble.
Baldi Locks.... I don’t disagree with your feelings at all, but trying to be patient and to help out...
Carl, hang in there. NAA has great customer service although it hurts sending a new gun back to the factory. I have four of their guns and carry them daily (not all at once though). I'm fine with the 22 mag for self defense and the NAA's shoot plenty accurate for me. Let us know how it works out and how it does at the range, especially how well the rounds extract to empty and reload.
Your an idiot, naa is anything but a piece of shit very well made, stick to your high points
Where you get cards and wads from
Train Bennett hey buddy, I purchased all my " loading materials " from Track of the Wolf.
Nice bird. Perhaps the biggest thrill I have gotten outdoors was calling up and bagging a turkey with my Northwest trade gun. I can't imagine having pulled it off while running a camera. Bravo!
Great bird
That must take a huge amount of skill.
what a thrill that must have been. I plan to try this year in Pa
nice! congrats
