I post mostly vids from shows I go to. I like prog rock but I’ll go see an ABBA tribute, or video a local band, or maybe belly dancers. In fact, there’s a small few of me dancing, here. And I don’t have a schedule or anything, so "regular content" will not be a Thing. I've decided to do a brief selfie video every now and then, letting you know what I'll be seeing in the following month or two so I'm not posting that here any more.
Saga - The One
Saga got started really late and I was exhausted from ELO the night before, four hours of sleep, and lots of travel. Even though I attended the 4pm show that day, this one not starting until almost 10 was a bit much. I had to get to my room.

I went to ProgStock in Newark, NJ this past weekend. Got up EARLY Saturday morning after ELO, flew up there, and attended Sat & Sun. Got a few vids to share from there as well. Might not get to ALL of them today, but they'll go up.

This was the encore of the night. What aural delight! And a fantastic tour to end Jeff's live career. Kudos to you, sir.

And here, a very sad, "missing you" kind of tune but upbeat. I like that dichotomy.

There are occasionally times when I don't quite get the beginning of a song. Sorry.

Such a beautiful, poignant piece. Not ashamed to say it makes me cry every time.

My first belly dance choreography was to this and was dedicated to my beloved Paul when I performed. It was one of 'our songs'.

I have loved ELO since 7th grade! I got to see them on the last tour and since this was his retirement tour, I *had* to go again. I got a friend to take Paul's ticket and it was spectacular.

Last one I shot. They played 'Lucretia My Reflection' for an encore but we left then. The parking lot at that venue is a particular nightmare after shows.

Leprous - Silently Walking Alone & The Price
One of my favorites by ELO. Thanks for the video.
Hardly singing....its all that smoking....i saw them several times in the 80s and 90s atleast 9 times in that time frame and 4 more times since 2000..the voice is gone. 😢😎💀
Perhaps that is why he's turned down so low...
He can't sing.
It's ain't about the vocal range, it's about how well it fits the music. I've heard people say that people like Iggy Pop, Shane MacGowen, Henry Rollins, John Lydon and the like 'can't sing' because they don't sound like, I dunno, Mariah Carey or something. We all know Mr Eldritch hasn't got a huge vocal range since the early days in the 90's. Doesn't mean we can't hugely enjoy his performances. ;o)
Russians be like "dafuq?"
HAHAHAHA! This has crossed my mind before, in some fashion.
Pedazo de concierto ni me acuerdo del año en sala límite Santomera inolvidable viernes y el sábado a madrugar pa darlo todo en la carnicería 😅😅😅
One of the best sons of SOM
This is great! I'm gonna see them tonight in San Diego!
I hope you have a great time!
Oh hell yes
Noice!!!
Holly what did you think of Kai singing Ofra Hazas part at 2.31?
I thought it was well done. For me, nothing could even touch what Ofra Haza did but it was as deftly handled as it could be.
@@sisterdecadence Thanks for your answer. Yes no one can touch Ofra Haza. However I think Kai is doing a great job singing her parts. His voice has really added to the stage performance of “Temple of Love” They are lucky to have him in the band. I was a big fan of Dylan and sorry to see him go but luckily they got Kai who brings another element to the live show.
@@Stevethesearcher I think I may delve into finding information/music by Kai's band next, just to see what he produces from his own heart & passion.
Doctor Jeep / Detonation Boulevard
Thank you!!
Thats Alice 🙄
Like I said, I'm not a huge fan. :D I don't know their material.
Song is Watching The Earth Sink
Thank you!
Thanks for the upload. This is awesome!
Steve. Please play the part (taps cool) and not improvise so much. There is plenty going on already. TY :)
Fripp told him to "play like yourself", so he does.
Very good modern rendition.....
Danny Carry and Steve Vai do a great job. I am thrilled that I get to see these 4 musicians play together live. Thanks for sharing!
Impressive chest voice on Adrian still, man is 74 years old
Clever of Vai to use tapping as he's unable to cross pick the Fripp part.
Are you KIDDING me?!?!? Fripp used delay and echo pedals and all of his other "Frippertronics"
It gets the job done. What difference does it make?
To be fair, Vai has had to change his picking technique a few times since his shoulder and wrist surgery.
@@fatstratcatdaddyo not on this song.
3:40 Yeesh! feel for the guy
Thanks for posting. I couldn't make it to the Montreal show which was sold out.
First!
O man this is sheer brilliance!
Ughh! Was that a song or a 9 minute sound check?
Guess everyone has their own opinion. :D
Awesome! Thanks for posting!👍
Keep 'em coming, Holly!
That was awesome! I loved this rendition of Jessica - great picking!
My favorite! Thanks!
@@DarwinsChihuahua Their version of this is SO good!
Too bad he shit on the original band.
I guess I missed that. (?)
Hell Yeah!!!!!!!! Great Song!!!!!!!!! And Band!!!! I'm 71 Still Rock n Roll!!!!!!!!!!! Till ☠️💀☠️!!!!!!!!!! Rock n Roll is King 👑!!!!!!!!!!!
I love you, my friend. Long distance hugs.
Thank you for keeping in touch
I enjoy the shows you post, and also the belly dancing............your work on-line brings people joy And you don't need me to tell you how beautiful ya are......I'm sorry for your loss.......your channel rocks.
Thank you so much, I appreciate your words.
Condolences on your loss, ma'am. I hope the time you had together was a blessing.
It truly was wonderful. We loved each other very much.
Then I'm glad, because that's all that can be hoped for.
Even the darkness know Bible is real and knows that The king is coming
The "darkness"? And yeah, the bible is real, I've actually seen one! 😃
They really are in the midst of their golden age. Keeping all the magic nice and strong
I agree - they sounded better to me than I've ever heard them.
Loving the sound quality on the recording. Nice catch.
Thanks - just my little iPhone 12. If I could afford it, I'd have the newest equipment but this suffices, I think. :D
Love this!
They’re amazing dancers!
“Death” is the song title
Thank you, Stephen!
The song is called “Tarot”
And thank you for this, as well. I appreciate you.
Beautiful I loved this part of the concert too. Madonna preaching the coming of my Lord Jesús Christ I love it.. Thanks for sharing ❤🎉
Yes but...she wove lyrics of Justify My Love in there and that's really not a religious song.
@@sisterdecadence As a Bible believer and a s Madonna's fan I love both the Biblical massage and the way justify my love's song was used to preach the coming of Jesús Christ. To me was a memorable moment 🥰 Anyway thanks for sharing 👍
@@girlatwork6692 It was beautifully done. 💜
@@sisterdecadence True 🥰
Can you believe it’s just 2 people playing. I just love Brian’s chops
Indeed. So much power for just the two!
Thanks for recording this.
These guys ALWAYS put on a fun, over the top show.
Prophetic much?
Where's you? WTH
Haha! This is the Stardancers & Wings of Isis...the top tier groups, if you will. :)
Is this recent?
Yes. I don't know why RUclips has a place to put a date if people can't see it. It was Mar 27, 2024.
@sisterdecadence heck yea. I saw them 20 years ago in Athens ga. Great show. They were touring that coin operated boy album at the time
@@RumoursOfFamine And I didn't get to see them back then so I did back in...2014 (?) when they first toured again and now. So fun & so much energy!
When your D&D party is all bards.
HAHAHA! Nice.
thanks for sharing! where were they playing?
Weird, it has me note where bands are when I post but I don't see it here. This is at The Kessler Theater in Dallas, TX.
I really, really, really love this cover - One of the greatest and most epic songs ever made - sadly still relevant ( Kind of a hymn for Ukraine and humanity )
This the 2nd Dallas show and that is the one and only Erykah Badu as guest judge.
Wow, really? So cool! I of course knew it was the 2nd show (oh to sell out massive arenas two nights in a row!) but I did not know it was Ms. Badu. Thank you!
