If people are doing great things, it has be mentioned by all means so that other can see and copy the same. When someone says, "Kerala isn't like the rest of India" it's not meant to disregard other states in India but it simply there is something big that sets it apart from other states. Like the issue of cleanliness and English literacy and behaviour. These are things that really sets Kerala apart from many states except for a few like Himachal, North East etc. Kerala is way more cleaner than most states (please don't argue on this one ☝️), people there are way for friendlier and do not give states or do not stare or act jumpy at foreigners in any uncomfortable way which is what most people up there do. It often feels like it's lack of exposure, some people might actually feel offended by being stared like that. Another thing, it's the behaviour. Most people in the south are way more chilled, relaxed and do not act funny around tourist. By funny, I mean the jumpy jumpy behaviour as if you have never seen a person before. Most of the time in the North, people get to the point of calling you names or saying derogatory comments like "Bhench*d, "Chut*ya" etc. when you just walking. Some even swarm all over you 😔. That's not good behaviour. Also in Kerala, people try to speak some English. I know English is not the measure of intelligence or being educated but honestly it means a lot to be able to speak it. As a language that's widely spoken, almost everywhere it is good to learn it. But most of the time in the North, it feels like people are bit ignorant about learning English almost to the point of like why should I learn it. They even try to speak to a foreigner with Hindi or local language 😣 like bro how can that person understand you. Most of them don't even try to learn until they want to write IELTS to go to Canada or UK. It's really sad honestly. Also, I have recently realised that most North Indians look down upon Southies cause of their skin color 😔

@macmadzima i am also from kerala and i agree with the things you wrote here and i think the best thing kerala has but most north indian states dont have is that we are more religiously tolerant if you go to any other north indian states and eat beef you would would be killed but in kerala you could eat it cuz we never kept religion as a measure of someone's value .But saying that kerala is the only educated state and every other states are bad isnt nice.And also glad you liked our state and visit again😊😊

@Zjsjsnsnsn Thanks for understanding bro , I think it came out wrong but I definitely did not mean that Kerala really is the only educated state because there are other certain best and unique states in India. What strikes the most about Kerala is how people are so open minded to other things and the world as a whole. But overally, I love India as whole and how it's comes with everything as a full package. One day you are in a rainforest in Kerala , one day you are at the beach in Goa, another you are in a desert in Rajasthan, another you are trekking in the dry mountains of Leh and another enjoying the snow in Himachal. It's fusion of everything. And surely thanks I had an amazing time in Kerala and will be back soon 😊
