story: I made this huge city made Salt Lake City, and one time a fire occurred on one of the buildings, then it spread extremely quickly to literally every single building in the city, at first I was like: “lol this is like the great fire of salt lake” but as the fire got even worse, I got more overwhelmed, so I deleted the city and saved up diamonds for a replacement, nowadays, Salt Lake City is now a huge megalopolis with hundreds and thousands of inhabitants and large skyscrapers.
tip: destroy the building on fire FAST before it spreads and then rebuild the building

There should be different signs in the left corner. Police, fire, ambulance. When there is a fire, select the fire sign from the signs and click on the fire

same thing happens to me but even if i do the right steps it still doesnt call the fire brigade and i dropped my phone 2 times when this happened
Idk if this helps anyone, but the fire brigade, and other emergency vehicles, needs to be summoned to the road, not the building. That means that when calling for fire fighters, make sure you click on the road that is accessible by them (presumably from the department but i cant confirm this). If you clicked on the building, nothing will happen. Go test this to confirm.
Also you need more than 1 fire station.
