It was high time I replaced my rusty, leaking crawlspace door with a brand new, custom-made wooden door. Determined to create a draft and bug-free haven, I went overboard with insulation and caulk, resulting in a comical scene of excessive layering and messy application. I am happy with it! Maybe it will give me less of an excuse to get down in the crawlspace and fix stuff in the future, so is that a good or bad thing? I dunno.
