After more than half a year of preparation and discussions, the DirectEd team consisting of Fasika Belay (Ethiopia lead), Kidus Elias (Curriculum Design lead) and Simon Sällström (CEO) was finally able to meet the president of the newly instituted Kotebe University of Education - the first Univeristy in Ethiopia dedicated to advancing education in the country.
