This £5 spacer changed the my Srad completely if you are on the taller side you’ll know the Srad is not the most comfortable bike to be on Watch this video it may help you out Disclaimer If you attempt this you are at you’re own risk please take care when dismantling your motorcycle

I am a bit late but i have a guestion. Can you travel with this bike? Like can you ride it for 30 miles at constant speeds like 50-70mph on a motorway or something?
I rode my ‘01 for 10 years. Fantastic bike.
Srad should be keept safe. Going up in price bike time. Got mine for 25k and a year later a guy wanted to give me 70k if i had orginal stuff to the bike, wish i ofc have but no. It stays with me. Not even 4k miles yet. Looking brand new😊
In the uk you can get a nice one for £1200
I have had mine 2 years now. Mine is from 97 and goes so fking good man omg. 600 from 97 with so good engine. New bikes dosnt give this feeling i have with mine. Stunning bike and so good for its age. Trust my bike more then bikes with abs or traction, idk why. But it for sure has a soul!

Had 2 of these Gixxer 600 SRADS. Beautiful bikes, first one was a red/grey/black colour combination had carbon Yoshimura can on it k&N air filter and stage 1 Dyno jet and to me that bike was as good as an old 600 sports bike gets. Did 150mph no issues. Second one I had was in Corona colours. Never had any issues with them. I want another but there's too many jealousy chavs... Sorry I mean thieving b@stards in the UK so it makes it difficult to have a nice bike now.

I have the exact same problem. Took key out and engine kept running. Now no ignition passenger side floor soaking.

It’s literally held on by 3 bolts and some hoses just pulls out getting the fan off is harder

I've got the Fi 750 model...unfortunately its been molested buy 5 previous owners. K4 tail modification. Different paint scheme...but it was too cheap to refuse. Hoping to restore her back to standard. Shes my profile pic

@@ianmoore3881 it was built for a customer of camberidge motorcycles and he didnt pay up so they sold it

I did buy another one and it was a pain in the back side the guy I took it to said that the Srad was not the best when it was new
I seen on for sale recently but its an ex race bike no lights etc bit rough and ready but im considering buying it and restorating it to it former glory
If he has the headlights to go with it I’d say go for it
@@Gixxer_fan_boy sadly he hasn't which has made me not go for it, I could of just used it with an daylight mot but too much hassle
Love Srad’s they can be pain electrics and carbs but ones they run they are so much fun
I have a 96 srad 750 I put over 80 000 km on it blew up the motor now I’m doing a full restoration

I heard you can restrict this to fit A2 standards is that true? not much information on the internet apart from people saying no and insurance companies are taking me just not sure if it's actually legal xD
Yes you can with restrictor plates
Great looking bikes , fun to ride even if a bit rigid feeling .. but mate what a pain in the arse ! Electric start had a mind of its own , piston / rings prone to wear . Had mine a month then boughtba 1992 cbr250rr and sold the mito . Sad story . Mine was red with chromed wheels

Just bought one of these it's a 2005 in red and gold with 11k miles. I've not actually rode it yet. It starts and seems OK. Hope it rides OK with no problems. Apparently it's had the 7 speed box fitted too.

Beautiful mate. 😍 enjoy it! Not a massive fan of the gsxrs if I'm honest apart from looks wise but these models are amazing my favourite 600 gsxr model this. Nice choice pretty sure its a k1 but i may be wrong. Looks very clean for a 50k miles+

what do u think about 3rd generation of aprilia and do u know how many hp got 2nd and 3rd gen?
They all look good obviously they have been updated to a more modern look Power wise the two stroke were all similar

@@TimewarpTV :) 'auto mixing' or something like that - in engine think = means = no hassle !!! :) = also - power / revs - means - 4-stroke red line about 6->8 k rpm think - 2-stroke red line about 12->14 k rpm - means - either more power or faster / quicker acceleration / higher top end !!! :) = 4-stroke 125cc top end about 70 mph bs = unrestricted 2-stroke top end about 100 mph ish !!! :) = also - 4-stroke 125cc 12bhp think = 2-stroke 125cc is unrestrictable so 33bhp for same cc size engine !!! = 2-strokes are awesome - means - real problem is - cli ch bs !!! - means - dmb sht like number of exhausts now - means - is a bs joke - means - need bring back 2-sttrokes !!! :) - and - fk battery powered shtboxes / bikes !!! :) - hope helps - cheers for commenting !!! :)

The moonroof lines are clogged. Use an air compressor with a long tip and blow from the top to clear the line
I had to underneath the car and find the holes For the gutters when I opened them they literally exploded I got soaked

Would it be a bad idea buying a Srad 600 from 2000 with 50k km on the clock for a daily?
50.000km is about 26000 miles It should be fine just double that 2nd and 5th gear is okay my last Srad 750 had 50.000 miles and it was okay
Takes me back at one stage i had a 2003 gilera sp125, a full power 2002 rs125, and a full power 96 dtr. I rated the dtr best overall.

The fastest old bike is the suzuki rg125, easy to derestrict and approximately 28hp
It’s a shame they don’t make them like that any more
The rs and mito both have over 30hp so the rg125 definitely isn’t the fastest
