If you look at my older videos when I was at month nine, 13, 22, all those other months my hair was hanging pretty low in general but there’s always some curl tension and bounce
ive always wanted curly hair but didnt know how much works goes into it for me its just a wash and go. props for you hanging in there and taking care of your hair. Hair looks great!!

Man my hair frizz so much too that's my biggest problem,I don't really know how to take care of my hair lol, sometimes I can't even see the curls because it's so frizzy

I gave up on my hair journey awhillee ago man. My hair would get so frizzy and dry and I couldn't stand it. Even tho I've got like the same exact hair but blonde something i was doing was fucking it up.
Tiqew I think blonde hair is a little bit more fragile. You might want to be more careful never use heat products be careful how you dry your hair. Air dry is the best. For more information check out my channel trailer on tips for growing good strong hair

Been following your vlogs lately (I am deaf so I only read the comments), but it’s very disheartening that you got discouraged enough to cut your hair. Glad to know that things are going up for you - keep growing! I cut my long hair several times in my life and I still regret both times to this day. I’ve made it a commitment to grow again! Keep it up ✊🏻
Daniel Thank you for your support very much. I cut my hair off basically because I had severe knots in the back of my hair. I don’t normally brush my hair that much. So that was a major problem. And I am talking about serious knots. I spent four hours in the bathroom just trying to get the knots out and I still couldn’t do it. My hair looked really good for the most part. But the ends of my hair were pretty crazy. But I feel like my hair is very great still. And will look very great and healthy and big The next time I grow it out. I made a decision to cut it. After my girlfriend left me. I cut it off just start over and to start over a new me. And I am happy with it right now. I definitely might grow it out long again. I definitely want to grow a nice big Afro maybe not completely too shoulder length. If you go to my video called brushed out curly hair on my channel. That’s when I had my Afro. And I really enjoyed that look the most. The long hair was getting a little weird for my complexion. But it really didn’t bother me. But I think the big Afro looks the best on me. ThickCurls A.F. Welcome!! Knots can be really unbearable, I agree! Last summer, I discovered Argan Oil of Morocco and it has been helping me a lot. I am only 4 months in, but I can feel the difference from the last time I grew it. Just checked out your brushed out video, and oh I can see that! I did enjoy having that style, it was a very fun phase to go through, unlike the awkward phase for those with straight hair, lol. Looking forward to seeing your hair progress!

Maybe it's because my hair blonde and it just looks so bad when it gets dry. It like dies.
I understand you bro. I quit using the blow dryer. I haven't use the blow dryer in over a year. That is the biggest difference ever. If I started using the blow dryer I would have cut my hair a long time ago because my hair would be dead as hell
Awesome hair man use argan oil or any kind of oil to get rid of frizz it works really well with my curly hair. also sub to my channel for some monthly updates

I had a hair cut after 2 years of growing and it was like your the color, curls, and thickness I give up because the frizz. By the way you can do half bun and it will look great on you just try it Also before you cut it ( I know how it's like to take care and time) try to straighten it by hair straightener not chemicals you may like it and suits your style (bun will be easy) good luck and keep uploading...

Sometimes frizz can be caused by lack of moisture. Maybe a leave-in conditioner would work. Also, deep conditioning once a week might help.
i use deep condition everyday lol

I think i have the same hair as you, but im struggling how to get my curls defined and moisturized. Yours look really good, both defined and moisturized! How do you get this? Do you apply some product in your hair? I had problems with knots too, and i've come to the point that i accepted that brushing my hair and getting out the knots is pointless, so i just leave it and use a wide toothed comb.
conditioner became my holy grail. i shampoo 2 times a week pretty much. and No heat products. heat ruins nice curls
Think the frizz will get less when putting in a leave in conditioner or some kind of moisturizer/gel

I'm still having hair trouble but I'm not giving up. it's still getting dry and course. I've been only using conditioner and I think I'm seeing improvements.

Congrats on 14 months. The hair is on point man. The weather has been crazy here in Texas. It feels like Spring and Summer mixed so far. Hope the weather gets better where your at. Good luck with college, you'll do good. Keep at it and have a great week.

been ckecking for a video luke every day haha. looks soo good man!. Do you use any leave In conditioner? I bought some Shae moisture shampoo conditioner and leave in conditioner. it works soo good!. My hair feels the healthiest and looks the healthiest its have in years. I also bought some zinc.

I cannot wait for my hair to get that long in a year. my hair grows fast to so. pretty much the same hair but I'm blonde. I'm only on like month one haha. its like an inch long I think

ThickCurls A.F. yo man I. getting kinda unmotivated recently becauser my hair is starting to get dry even tho its short. I wash it about 2 times a week(7day) at most. and co-wash like 1 time a week. I take a zinc pill. drink alot of water. I use Shae moisture shampoo conditioner and leave in conditioner. I use the leave in conditioner like every other day or every time I shower because it just gets dry if I don't. so yeah an if you can tell me what I'm doing wrong or give some tips that would be great!. I think I'll tone it down and wash only once a week and maybe co wash once a week to. I'll try and come up with a schedule. last time I grew my hair out it was exactly like yours before you restarded your journey. and I'm worried little turn out like that again.... all dry and dead all the time.
