Bhasmasura touched Mohini but why did she not turn into ashes? How can a god run away from his creation? Is a god made of dust that he is afraid of being turned into ashes? Shiva still have the power to kill Bhasmasura from a distance. He did not give his powers away? Why didn't he do it? Why does a god need help from anyone? Why did the god agree to kill human beings just for the sake of getting non-stop supply of ashes? Why does a god need human ashes to apply to his body? Why are ashes pure and hair impure? Why does Shiva get angry at trivial things like hair in the ashes? He could have just removed the hair and carry on?
There is an implication in the context of Shiva's escape, Vishnu must lift Mohini avatar, Ayyappa avatar must come, this is the implication, Shiva is love, anger, pity, compassion, even if his eyes are closed or open for some reason, the implication is that he is the great self, that is what we need to understand. , you have to understand the god first, later worship him

This is a mangalorean folk dance which is inspired by kola and they perform this yakshana and depict mahabharata ramayana it starts in the evening and runs all night
For your information it's not yakshana it is Yakshagana "ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ" in Kannada, and its not Mangalorean folk art it has an expansion of North Kanara, South Kanara and also the district of Shimoga. And mainly its not inspired by kola in any way, you can google. Yakshagana has its own History and Tradition. But one thing is true, it is performed all night till morning
its an extraordinary skirt with very less reach.

what the f**k??... this story is not from Indian mythology but it is Hindu mythology.................. stop saying everything Indian grow up and tell the fact. Hindu equally to not only India but the origin of Hinduism and Buddhism in Nepal. India is just a big country but not an old country, most of the Hindu epics like VEDA, Gita, Ramayan, and Mahabharat was written in the different cave of Nepal.
