Hello
My Grandma used to make these and added a little bit of a citrus juice, lemon, lime, orange ... About a TBL SPN ... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I have made this for nearly 50 years, but since my mother passed I can't reproduce it properly. My mother only used a few drops of milk, or cream, And she spent forever it seemed cutting butter into the sugar, chill repeat. Then after it's rolled up with the peanut butter and sliced, It remains silky smooth, But when ever I use too much liquid, the sugary part gets hard in the refrigerator and is crunchy, not smooth. Anyone else experience this?
I have wanted to try Potato Candy for many years, so I found a DIY by a lovely gentleman yesterday. Then, when this video popped up today, I decided to watch it to see if your recipe was any different from his (It is very different). I was just about to save your video to my "recipe stash" when you announced you were going to sing a song from church for us. I thought, "Well, how sweet is that." 😊 Then, when you began singing, I immediately subscribed... Your singing is so spirit filled that I could feel Him filling my heart with peace and joy. Many of your viewers have mentioned how beautiful your voice is. It's more than beautiful it's anointed. Thank you so much for not being afraid to praise our Lord in front of God and everybody. 😁 It's so beautiful that you share your family's stories with all of us. You are very generous to share the gifts of knowledge and skill you use to bless your family with all that Love. By these things, you have become a reflection of God, who provides so many wonderful foods for us because it pleases Him to delight us with His amazing gifts. And, He too has shared with us the stories of His family that has unfolded for over 2000 years. I am so glad I found you, and I am grateful. Thank you. ❤
Hello from Ky
I have a few of those hammered aluminum pots from my grandma and the lids for mine are the same as the pot. I love those pots. They are my favorite.
I enjoyed your singing, I jumped in and sang Harmony with ya, I'm from the middle of Kentucky and I love Jesus I am nothing without Him!!
Yes thank you sweet Jesus. You have a beautiful voice.
Howdy
My mom was born in Kentucky. Her brother, my uncle Jr. used to make there for us kids. Thanks for the memories. They have both moved on to heaven, but I am going to share this recipe with my grandchildren. Also thank you for the beautiful song. We all have so much to be thankful for.
My mom was from Oklahoma and my dad was from Arkansas, my mom’s side made rolled and cut what y’all are calling flat but my dad’s side made drop dumplings what y’all are calling fluffy , I prefer the rolled and cut but love them both , nothing better than chicken and dumplings !
Thank you. Love these but have never made them but am going to try thanks to you.
I. Lived. Hopkinsville. Hello
I see that you’re using air tubes for your mom, my friends husband was on that machine as well. Her friend told her about European mistletoe, it’s a kit that she uses every day on him. He is off of his breathing machine and doing so well. It’s unbelievable. She told me that mistletoe is different in every tree that it grows in. You might wanna look it up for your mom.👍💟
I Love these, used to help Mom make these for Christmas. Thank you Missy!
Hello
Missy that song was beautiful. I wrote a poem SPENDING TIME WITH GOD. HEhas blessed me so so much. That song is a blessing to me.
Hi Missy
Crunchy biscuits are my favorite, but I love them fluffy as well!
