Rammstein - Engel (Behringer TD-3 Pattern Recreation)
Quick recreation of the synth pattern that appears just after 3:00 in the original track.
I don't have a clue what was used in the original Rammstein recording session, but if you play around with the eq, filter and chorus settings you can get reasonably close.

I'm no d'n'b expert, but this was fun. Gear: Roland MC-505 (for sequencing only) Akai S2000 And a tiny bit of extra drum and bass from: Behringer RD-6 (hi-hat, cymbal, little kick) Behringer RD-9 (Sustained distorted kick) Volca Keys (bass)
Acid Routine (Behringer RD-6, RD-9, TD-3)

RD-6, RD-9 and TD-3 with a smidgen of onboard reverb from MX1804X. Tiny bit of comp and eq applied in Audacity. I love the playability of RD-9, but it sounds rather dry (too clean) on its own. Thin layer of slightly distorted RD-6 is just what it needs imho.

Trying to play freshly built scrapwood banjer with my 2 year old on the vocals. The banjo is my first ever built and made entirely from material that would otherwise end up in the tip. Standard G tuning, but a step lower. More or less.

Howard Shore's Lord of the Rings score as I learned it from the phenomenal Josh Turknett. Played on a fine autumn day on Castle Head overlooking Keswick, Bassenthwaite and Grisedale Pike in the English Lake District.
Class!
Lovely. Thanks.

Excellent work here !! !! 👍👍👏👏
Thanks for the positive feedback, it means a lot!
The RD-9 sounds like fun, I might have to get one as well. Very cool basslines from that TD-3; I hope to hear more jams from you. I love acid techno.
The Rd-9 is a lot of fun, it is extremely playable and tweakable, but it also has the right amount of limitations (for me).
You came up in my suggestions. I'm subscriber 17. We share the same gear but your so much more talented. More posts please.
Thank you sir! These toys are great, we live in a great time. What style are you into?
I like techno! You're so right. We do live in great times with affordable gear like Aira compacts, Volcas, Behringer clones, pocket operators. Life is good.

Watched it last night and you did a great job !!!…. I’m amazed that you being from another country and you captured the essence of taking what material that you had and building a mountain style banjo and making it sing . While you have not seen our mountains , people , or the instruments themselves , you captured the basic root of where this began and I congratulate you and look forward to more videos !!!
Simply wonderful...This the same sound Appalachian Mountain youngens would have heard so many years ago.
