It's enough for my gaming needs. But the 8gb vram is too low for other things like AI. Greedy Nvidia refuses to put 12gb on their xx60 cards...

RT Off looks better to me. I can see the texture and indentations of the sidewalk in the first example with RT Off. But with RT On, it just blurs everything together and makes the sidewalk look like a big puddle of water, and overly prioritizes reflections instead of detail.

Yeah but what setting are the upscalers on? Are they set on native? Sometimes the native upscaler setting can look better than native res with the standard TAA

I've got a 2060 12gb. Runs Elden Ring at 1440p on High very nice. Doesn't max the vram on ultra but it does max the cores. So I'd say it still holds up very well.

i am currently using 2060s and i paired it with 5600, yes it is enough, however it bottleneck the r5 5600 even in 1080p. this card is keeping up the performance against 6600 despite being older but still better in some area other than gaming (i.e AI, Editing). recommended ~150$ used card for entry level in early 2025 gaming and productivity.

cant use most of the games released recently...they stutter even at 60fps locked, low settings and mine is an OC version... it's just time to change it for a 4070 Ti

Still does ok. A few badly optimised titles in there. It's the usual UE5 rubbish, the lazy devs engine of choice. Great devs can do amazing work with UE5, but with time constraints and lazy devs you get shit.

Not supposed to use upscaler at 1080p unless you are desperate. As for 1440p, would say both options are acceptable at Quality preset. Would never buy a GPU just because of better upscaler. Native res performance much more important to evaluate a GPU.

srry just looks the same and 90% ov the game is night, most of the game you will be playing in dark couse thats the game., i finished it so i'm not talking out of my azz, i loved it but the day and night "cycles" are rubish since most of the game is at night , or i am just crazy

DLSS looks so much better imo, but thats just because FSR just looks awful in this game, thats why I sold my 6700xt and bought 3080.

Nvidia cards are borked in this game, stutter gallore and same DLSS performs horrible in this game on RTX 4080, and yet 7900XTX runs the game relatively easy. Testing FSR on Nvidia card with Stalker 2 is already a caveat in itself, because Nvidia cards are at the deficit in the game

How did you set to high preset. I've set the default to low, but when I want to change to high preset and restart the game, it's stuck with black screen. i3 10th, 16gb, rtx 3060ti

It doesn't matter when playing. Anyone who is constantly looking at how many lightning bolts are zigzagging on which one compared to the native one is not looking for the gaming experience anyway, and there is a good chance that he has never played on an Amiga 1200 or PS1 in his life.

As i can see it runs well with the specs. What are the people yapping about? A lot of them are on laptops or nvidia10 series gpu or equivalent with shitty harware management and complaing that they cannot run it. They want to run it with no frame gen. I also had no performance issues other than what is expected to be.

Same spec as you, but mine runs terribly with many pop-up textures and objects. Whenever I load the game, it always takes a few minutes to load everything, along with input delay and stuttering. Does this happen to you, too?
