59:02 🙏🏿🙌🏿God bless you FPC Charlotte. Prayers for you and N.C. in the wake of the Hurricane Helene Helene. 🙏🏿 Welcome Katlyn to an awesome music ministry 🎵🎶🎼🎹🎹🎹🎹. Thank you all for an amazing beautiful worship service.
Good morning FPC Charlotte 🙏🏿. Always a blessing and pleasure to worship with you.
Words "Gloria, Laus, Et Honor" (Latin). Author: Bishop Theodulph Of Orleans [0760- 0821], Circa 0820. Theodulph was born into the Italian nobility in 0761, but decided on a life of religious service. His first position was as Abbot of a Monastery in Firenze (Florence), Italy. In 0781, Charlemagne appointed him Bishop of Orleans, France. However, this flourishing career came to an abrupt end with Charlemagne’s death. Louis the Pious suspected Theodulph of secret loyalty to political leaders in Italy, the country of his birth. These suspicions led to Theodulph’s imprisonment in Angiers in 0818. His predicament is reminiscent of Paul’s incarceration in Rome. Like Paul, Theodulph’s faith sustained him inside cold stone walls. It was there he wrote "ALL GLORY, LAUD AND HONOR", and there that he died in 0821. Translated from Latin to English by: Rev. (Dr.) John Mason Neale [1818-1866], in 1851. Music: "Saint Theodulph", Melchior Teschner, In Ein Andächtiges Gebet (Leipzig, Germany: 1615). Johan Sebastian Bach used this Chorale in his “Saint John’s Passion.” William Henry Monk wrote the harmony in 1861. THIS TRADITIONAL PALM SUNDAY HYMN OF PRAISE WRITTEN BY BISHOP THEODULPH OF ORLEANS IN AROUND 0820 HAS BEEN AN INTEGRAL PART OF MANY CATHOLIC AND PROTESTANT CHURCH HYMNALS.
I disagree with the formulation. It is dynamic in that we both participate but it is fixed in that God does in fact have decrees which cannot be overridden.
Excellent bravo Miss Hicks is a true master of her craft she does her teacher great honour this is a superb rendition she is an international star-quality musician I send love and greetings in the name of Jesus Christ our lord from England UK Father Charles Anderson
Heartfelt thanks to Catherine from Canada! I hope you will be continuing to use your wonderful gifts in His service. God bless you!
Thank you FPC Charlotte Family 🙏🏿 Pastor Pen and Ministry of Music for a wonderful worship service.
I SO wish you could hold this contemplative service at 11. 🙏🏼
It gives my heart a lot of Joy to listen to this wonderfully talented and well directed choir! Every Sunday you all seem to be growing in numbers! Your music is phenomenal and inspirational!❤
I like this anthem at this tempo.
Greetings to you my FPC Charlotte Family 🙏🏿. Thank you as always for a wonderful time of worship.
Always happy to have you join us, Robert!
Hello! I once visited this video back on May 10, 2023 to learn this new to me hymn song. I know because I dated the page in my second hand hymnal when I did, along with your channel's name in hopes of visiting to sing along with it again. Well, it's Monday, September 16, 2024 and I am visiting to listen and then play again and sing along with. Thanks for sharing this hymn; thanks also to you, you had two bonus stanzas that my hymnal didn't have, which I copied down on my first visit.
What a fantastic choir!! Excellent Choir Director and organist.
❤❤❤ Hello my FPC Charlotte family 🙏🏿
Happy Labor Day FPC Charlotte 🙏🏿. God bless you. Thank you for another beautiful service.
CHOOSE.
Have a blessed labor day, and thank your Mothers.
What on earth is beating around during the singing? Sounds like someone is playing a broken tambourine!!!
You pulled this off 4th of July weekend. MOST impressive. Bravi, tutti.
Always an uplifting service with first rate music and choirs. Appreciate Pastor Peery’s sermons that unpack the deeper meaning and nuances of scripture.
Thank you so much for this opportunity to be virtually present at our Great-niece Hannah M. Harder’s christening! Such a blessing and we are very grateful indeed to share in the joy from afar ! Heartfelt thanks! 🙏🤍
We all were blessed to be present for Hannah's christening!
Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling, Calling for you and for me; Patiently Jesus is waiting and watching, Watching for you and for me. Refrain: Come home, come home; Ye who are weary come home; Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling, Calling, O sinner, come home! Why should we tarry when Jesus is pleading, Pleading for you and for me? Why should we linger and heed not his mercies, Mercies for you and for me? (Refrain) Time is now fleeting, the moments are passing, Passing from you and from me; Shadows are gathering, deathbeds are coming, Coming for you and for me. (Refrain) O for the wonderful love he has promised, Promised for you and for me! Though we have sinned, he has mercy and pardon, Pardon for you and for me. (Refrain)
A beautiful reminder of God's promise to us in Isaiah.
Few churches these days have such an impressive choir.
Absolutely Wonderful!
Thank you FPC Pastor Pen Music Ministry for a beautiful service. I truly loved the Communion Hymns In the singing In the Silence, Feed us Lord, Take O Take Me As I Am. 🙏🏿
Amen thank you 🙏 Lord ❤❤❤you are amazing God....
❤
Watching, enjoying the message. God bless you!
And may God bless you and your family, sir.
Brian McLaren is an amazing gift. So insightful! Love his books and how he presents. I first saw him at a conference in New Mexico at the Center for Action and Contemplation with Richard Rohr. We need more like him. Thank you, Brian McLaren!
Good morning FPC CHARLOTTE 🙏🏿
I can't remember if or when I ever heard a more important Message. Thank you for sharing!
FPC Ministry of Music ❤❤
Shame on you idol-worshippers. You've made a human creation (the USA) into a totem to worship. Not one of you smart enough to question what you are doing.
the best part is watching how much fun Will and Catherine are having with this!!!
The music was so fantastic! Words just can't describe! Thank you.
Thank you FPC! I know I will always be receiving refreshment for the mind and soul here! Thank you to the whole staff! This was the best celebration of freedom🎉 I will have this July 4th!!❤ Really enjoyed the music too!
A TRUE DISCIPLE of Christ in the truest sense of the word, listen to him, Pastor Brian McLaren!🌿❤️😇🙏
I was very impressed with this lecture and look forward to reading McLaren's book. I was glad to see that mainline Christians are now beginning to talk about collapse and to consider how they might help others, as well as themselves, to deal with the crisis. Thank you for sharing this lecture on RUclips! I now feel like I have a better understanding of how to speak about these topics with my Christian friends.
So beautiful and nicely done. Thank you.
Are u strait STUPID? EVOLUTION DOES NOT EXIST!!!
From Inherit the Wind: " Drummond: Then you interpret that the first day as recorded in the Book of Genesis could've been a day of indeterminate length. Brady: I mean to state that it is not necessarily a 24 hour day. Drummond: It could've been 30 hours, could've been a week, could've been a month, could've been a year, could've been a hundred years, or it could've been 10 million years!!"
Why don’t we talk about god being shoved down people’s throats?
Greetings FPC Charlotte 🙏🏿. As always thank you for sharing this beautiful service. Pastor Pen the sermon was great as always. Music Ministry phenomenal 👍🏿
