Over the July 4th weekend of 2023 I camped four days in Thorsmork, in the south of Iceland's highlands. I brought my oil painting kit and stayed up late each night to paint. In the last week of June I went on my first backpacking trip - two and half days in Hornstrandir Nature Reserve in the Westfjords, on the northwestern tip of Iceland.
