Allow us to introduce ourselves:
I (Makdoos) am a tabby - but with a rather unusual coat of which I'm quite proud. My siblings and I were born on a farm in New Zealand in June 2023, and raised through our kittenhood by the SPCA. I moved to my permanent abode in September 2023, where a retinue of servants and hangers-on now keep me fed and entertained. I find rural life charming.
Somewhat to my chagrin, a small puppy found his way to my estate in December 2023. He is 50% golden retriever, 25% labrador, and 25% standard poodle. I christened him Horace, after the Roman poet (I am fond of the classical era).
I created this channel to document our frequent clashes and reconciliations. I hope you enjoy.

We initially tried to break up their fights, but eventually we realised that they both LOVE pouncing on each other. And our kitten's bites aren't as vicious as they look! Video is from earlier this year when Horace (the puppy) was 14 weeks old, and Makdoos (the kitten) was 7 months old.

Makdoos the kitten and Horace the puppy are constantly play-fighting.
We have all these unimaginable luxuries in the west, this included. Domesticated animals, cats and dogs, are some of the most beautiful aspects of our comforts in this world. They're comforts that can be had by almost all people, and with them, even with a very low income, you can live a quality life. They train you in their own way. Dogs and cats can only be happy if you care for them. By doing so, they reward you for it, simply by being in their company. The love of an animal is real. It doesn't only have to be human in order to mean something.

I've got a black lab mix that is just about the fartinest dog you'll ever see. She sits there, just looking at you farting like she's not even doing anything. And they're actually kind of loud. They sound almost like people farts.
