Sending the new and greatly improved Arcata Community Forest mountain bike jump line. We used to build jumps and berms here 20 years ago when it was an illegal trail on private logging land. It's so neat to see the trail get sanctioned by the city. No more janky senders, this trail is now super legit!

Descending Winston DH mountain bike trail in Upper Bidwell Park. Probably the steepest trail in the park that actually has some dirt. This trail is rated as a double black diamond on Trailforks, it I would consider is more of a black. December 2024. Transition Scout. GoPro 10.

In Texas we just yell, Passing Left. Or BIKE , and then people move right when a spot opens up.
Good sportsman ship. Sometimes I go fast, but after I'm tired I still ride around bc I like the scenery. Sometimes I ride my single speed. I don't care about strava or anything. You can pass. Politeness is appreciated.

@@penguinman2512 I waited for 10 minutes at the top before I dropped in so I could go for a pinned run… still ended up overtaking 4 people. I love letting faster riders pass me, then I get to cheer them on and see how long I can keep up with them! At least there were no groups stopped in the middle of the trail, that’s what really bugs me!

Man you were flying! I did that commute a handful of times but never that fast! I sure do miss the ridge sometimes
I still need to clear those two doubles! That’s the last thing on that trail that I haven’t completed.
I still need to head back over there and conquer that jump line. Those two larger jumps in the middle I still haven’t cleared. Good stuff man 🤘🏻

Lake mammoth is always freeze and a lot of areas that have quick sand and sink holes be careful not to step in on because you can’t see them sink holes
