Yeah, so when I first started playing gp Luffy, I had a list similar to that, but I felt it was too bricky. However, after getting some reps in, I've definitely wanted to go back and try it again. Cause yeah, 9c zoro just ain't it. And the restand Luffy is just a lil too honest in my opinion. I've been going back and forth on that card, but maybe a 2 of idk. Lol yeah it's definitely not a brain dead ramp or nothing deck thats only half the battle really. Also do you run strawhat searchers?

@@3PieceTCG I have tried them but found most of the time the cards your losing give you more value then the search. I think vivi from eb set has more value then the search since u can play it mid or late with out risking messing up your stack due to bottom decking. And have been playing around with ratios involving that and the 3 cost namule blocker. He can set up sanji plays if ur top end is in ur hand or u need to cycle some dead cards. Plus being a blocker means he can help relieve some pressure. I have even sanji in namule to set up a sanji play for the next turn while not being as at risk. Not sure if either will make the final cut but both as a 2 of have been helpful in ways. until more of the deck is stawhats tho I think the searcher don't help as much as the do in other decks since late game you dont want to use them alot of the time only play line is turn 1 into a zoro joro or a 2 k but what is being removed for it is the question? And when compared card for card with the other stuff In the deck its value doesn't hold up in actual practice

@@3PieceTCG another card to try is 8 cost kaido sets 1 don as active from don deck end of turn. Haven't tested personally but it should make giant plays alot easier to do.

@GammaBeastBoy bro idk what happened to my message responding to your last one but I was thinking the same thing with throwing out some chump blockers to slow down the game and stack except I was thinking of using Duval. And yeah that kaido would definitely make things easier in the late stages. Great takes! I can't wait to hear what you got for tomorrow's video!

@darkdonut99 @@patricknoel5747 yeah and it's crazy because if he survives to 8 don and plays Sanji, it feels like an auto win, BUT... that's if he survives. Any substantial support may result in him being broken and If you think about it rp luffy never got any crazy direct support for possibly the same reason. AT the same time! The difference here is this IS a booster leader not a starter deck leader so for luffy to not get any good support would be crazy!

It’ll be blue support since they leaked the nami mami. Maybe a stacker for straw hats, or a big bottom deck body, or some sort of card draw for early game advantage I would wager.

Oh I was just trying something extra cray crayyy on this one. The reason it doesn't work imo is that you're not guaranteed at ramp with this leader so you either see your ramp and high roll or you're scraping by. Still alot of fun though. I'd take out the lins and 2 namis for wb. Dang now you got me thinking... I'M GOING BACK! lol😅😅😅

@xarmanhsh2981 I feel ya boss and I'm sorry to hear that. Seeing this leader with those same colors has got to make u feel like your leader won't be getting support anytime soon. I'm someone who also just doesn't want to play the top meta decks and would rather figure out a counter to them and keep it moving. If I want to compete in big tourneys I know that's what it'll take but if it's just me having fun at locals this game is more than perfect for that. I'd say have one deck to compete sweaty tourneys and have the rest for fun without an expectation for victory cause it's that expectation that takes the fun out of what should be a game that brings joy💯💯💯 Thanks for hangin with us and I hope you stick around! 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️

@hunterspike yeah after smoking it over it may not be worth paying 8 don to swing 7k twice the turn it's played. However, if it sticks, swinging twice the turn after it's played could definitely be lethal. We shall see😏😏😏

@animecascada that's basically the idea. We wouldn't play either until we've run out of options which isn't until late game anyways so yeah. Also we can play 7c Kid and Franky on 10 don thanks to leader ability.
