The voice level system is useless overall imho. At the beginning of the year, I explain what each time block means and they stick with it usually with few reminders. Work time is quiet time. If you need to talk for discussions your deskmates (I always group) should be the only ones hearing you. Using the library means your voice is off. Stuff like that gets my class to be more controllable than any voice level me or my colleagues try.

Love your classroom? What consequences do you use in your classroom? Also how do you deal with hallway misbehavior like running in the hallway? Like do you have them walk with you or do you hold their hand ? Also do you have student come sit right next to you if they need help focusing ? Do you have them sit right next to you at your desk or the kidney table? Just curious please answer?
@@swinapatel9310 I don’t have most of these behaviors that you’ve mentioned. Usually if there’s a problem I just redirect or give a gentle reminder of what is expected. 😊

We are in AZ and we start school EARLY! In service began on July 29th and school begins on August 1st. New teachers start in-service a week earlier.

Absolutely! Especially when the school year starts, I will post teacher outfit ideas! Most of my black skirts come from JCPenney. ☺️
