Great video. Thank you.
@@msc1064 Thank you, and thanks for watching!
I'm glad to see that you've decided to start making videos of the truck again. Not because I don't like the other content, but because I know this one means a lot to you. Your Dad is going to love it!
Thanks Buddy! I actually just got back from the shop. Still having a hard time filming it. I pushed through, but I feel like it's more awkward than when we started on Wendy's Mustang 😄
I NEVER comment on videos but I felt this deserves one. I installed their (AJE) front and rear kits on my 67 Mustang. You are not alone on any of your complaints. I had many of your same issues. AJE makes an outstanding product but their instructions were awful. The pictures are horrible and there should have been more alignment points referenced. If they would spend a little more time and effort on instructions and better pics/info on their website they would be covered up with business. In today's world customer service will make or break your business (in my opinion). Aje, if you see this, hire some young computer savvy employee that is passionate about making your product line stand out from the rest of your competitors. By updating your website with install instructions, with high quality pictures, write ups and videos you will be a cut above the rest.
Well, thank you for taking the time to respond! I agree, their product is good. Other than the one lower control arm, I had no issues with the quality of any of the parts. The old '65 rides and handles great, and in the end, I'm glad we did it. It was just a painful process to get it all installed haha!
@@TorquePowerVideo please make a video review of how the car drives and handles. No where on RUclips have ibfound a review on the "after install"
Looking forward to seeing the process! And I'm digging the shirt.
I'll bet you still have a few dozen of them kicking around, too! They're great work shirts from the good old days!
Buyer Beware. The Hyper Tough Brand is not worth the money and Walmart does not honor the Hyper Tough Warranty. 😧
@@IStoleHerFromKen all I can say is I'm happy with mine, but haven't had to deal with any warranty issues yet. Sounds like you have some direct experience with this. Can you let everyone know what happened? I'm sure we'd all like to hear it.
I need to do this also. I seen one cideo where the guy drilled and tapped aome holes to put grease zerks in allowing it to be greased. The seals on the end of the disconnect, allowes water in. Yhere may also be the option of greasing the seal similar to how youngeease them in snowmobiles, using greese in a syringe, and i jecting it into the seal.
Yes, it seems like the manufacturer would have thought out the poor sealing issues since they were going on a Jeep. Thankfully, mine has been working well since this repair job!
I just bought an old buggy with CNC brake Master cylinder and clutch system similar to yours. Where did you a rebuild kit? Thank you for the video and any info you can relate.
Unfortunately, I don't think anyone sells a kit specifically for the CNC/Neal brake or clutch systems. I was very fortunate to be able to disassemble what I had and save 2 of the 3 cylinders. I did have to replace one, and a Wilwood master cylinder bolted right in place of the old CNC unit with no modifications except for rerouting the brake line. Hope that helps, and good luck with your project!
Thank you, I'm sure that will help.
Great video as always!
Thanks Buddy! I appreciate it!
How long does the battery last
I get a decent life out of the batteries, but I don't use it all day every day, so it's hard for me to give a definite answer on how long they'd last for everyone.
Nice review. Thanks. Looking at picking one up!
I've been very happy with mine!
Very cool
I enjoyed the video. Its been a long time since I have seen one these things in the woods. When I was a kid there was a lot of people running them back then people would build them with a very short wheel base a heavy skid plate and individual cutting brakes. It was amazing what they would do over very rough terrain maybe not quite as good as a well built jeep but could hold their own . God bless.
Thanks for watching, and thank you for taking the time to leave a comment! It's true, they aren't nearly as popular as they used to be, but they're still fun as heck and I don't see why we don't see more of them out there with them being such an inexpensive option to play around with!
Motor sounds like the chicoms made more cheap immersion blenders that Temu could sell for $2.15 so they turned them into "cutoff tool" and dumped them on Walmart.
Wanted to see tile
I'll tell you what, my friend, go to our channel's homepage. In the channel description, you'll find our mailing address. If you send me a piece of tile, I'll make a video of me cutting for you. I'll even give you a shout-out for sending it and making the video possible!
Where can I get one? Or at least the frame?
@user-gu8ll5mn6f this frame is called "Pack Rat" and is made by BeeLine. Check Facebook marketplace for "rail buggy" "woods buggy" or "dune buggy" and you're sure to find one for sale close by!
Cool buggy
@@UnmaskingTheMachine thank you!
Try to change the disc without the battery plugged into the tool. Safety first!
Great video! We absolutely love this park!! It is always changing and has something for everybody!
I agree! I'm thinking about taking our rail buggy back this weekend for a few rips around the race course 😁
@@TorquePowerVideo do it!!
Awesome video!! Hate we missed this month!! Wally always puts on a show!! Glad everyone was ok!! Looks like a fun time!!🤘
Thank you! The turnout wasn't the greatest for this one, but I'll tell you what, old Wild Man Wally made sure everyone who did show up was entertained!
@@TorquePowerVideo he does every time!! Maybe we will see u at the next one!
Hopefully so!
Sweetgum tree burs (seed pods).
Ahh thanks!
I miss my crown Vic i also had a 88 same thing but mine was white with burgundy interior. It was my first car when I got my license in 92 lol best car i ever had. I would love to get another same year or close to that year but that body style. It's my favorite before they come out with the round look. Still a nice car but the older ones have a better classier look to it 😂
I agree. The older ones have way more style!
Glad everyone made it out ok!! Hate we missed it and couldn’t be there for it!
We had a blast!
Looks like it was fun while it lasted.change the tire will it run good enough to get back home?
Luckily, it's one of Wally's race Jeeps that stays at the park
@@TorquePowerVideohey are you going to upload any of the other videos you recorded?
I am working on the full-length video now. It will be out soon!
Tough break .
Great job guys!
Thanks, Buddy! It's not perfect, but it sure looks better than before 😄
Who left the time and light there?
I guess it was the fellow running the dyno cell
I'm glad you were able to use the master cylinder!
Thanks, man! You giving it to me gave me the push I needed to get it finished!
Wally is a great guy! Had a great day exploring the park.
Can't wait to go back again with the dune buggy!
Who knew picking weeds out of the cracks of concrete would wear a hole in my leather gloves...can't have nothing!
We'll get you another pair 😄 Thanks for all your help!
Test driving was fun Babe! You only scared me once on the dirt road😂
Hey Wendy 👋👋😁
😄
It was fun for sure!
Do you run it with the 4ah battery? If so how does it perform?
I do! I can't say if it makes any difference in power output. If it does, it hasn't been a noticeable difference to me. However, as you'd expect, the battery lasts MUCH longer, and as a bonus, it allows me to easily stand it straight up so I don't cover it with junk and lose it haha! (That was worth the battery's cost right there)
Man that's a great video! I have a 93 Grand Cherokee Laredo that the transmissions fried and I know it's because of the 249 transfer case is bad, I'd like to do an upgrade.. you wouldn't happen to be in Texas would you?
Thanks for watching! I'm located in Georgia, but good luck with your project! The ZJs are great vehicles!
I just picked this up today. I do a lot of small engine repairs, mainly lawn mowers. This is going to be handy for sure. Thanks for sharing.
I'm sure it will serve you well! Thanks for watching!
Thnk u very much for this
You're most certainly welcome. I hope it helped with your project!
@@TorquePowerVideo IT WILL FOR SURE. 99 TJ has a horrible shake from 20-30. Clicking when clutch is slightly released. As well as a few other noises.
Great video! Sounds like a really fun place to go wheeling. Gonna have to make the ride over there I believe.
We had a great time and barely scratched the surface of all the trails out there!
Great video! Wally is definitely a great guy with a great park!!
Absolutely! He was one of the most down to Earth guys I've ever met and made us feel 💯 at home the whole day!
My dad gave me his white 88 Ltd trailer special I just changed the heater core as my first fix on a car😁💪🏼. I’m loving that dash, mine is super cracked from the Cali sun lol. Glad to see some people actually like these cars still Bc I LOVE this car. I feel sorry for anyone who’s never rode in these, so smooth me and my brothers always fell asleep in the (sleep machine)😂great memories
It's like riding a couch down the road 😄 Thanks for watching and taking the time to drop a comment!
I wanted 1/4” anvil ratchet but HY don’t offer it as of June 2024. Well I got at $15-$19 Harbor Frieght Central Pneumatic 1/4” air ratchet and swapped out the anvil drive portion of the head and now I have 1/4” and 3/8 Hyper Tough 12v ratchets. The HF air ratchets are now 3/8” drive. 🤓🔥
Nice! That's a smart way to get what you need!
Are there any issues breaking bolts loose manually with one of these? Say, like brake caliper bracket bolts. I recently used my buddies Bauer cordless wrench from HF. It was great, it really sped up my brake job time/made it more enjoyable. But i found it to a little large with the battery hanging off the end. This tool looks like a happy medium
I've broken several bolts/nuts loose without a problem, including caliper bolts. I wouldn't recommend trying to break lug nuts loose with it, but it's been sturdy enough for my uses so far. Thanks for watching!
@TorquePowerVideo thank for the response. I ended up buying the long head. First use I broke the head trying to break loose a caliper pin bolt. Back to the drawing board I guess
I watched this video because I am having a similar problem so I’ll diagnose my Jeep TJ similarly to how you diagnosed the no start no crank. Thank you for your knowledge.
I hope the video helps diagnose the issue with your Jeep! Trying to help people is why I make the videos. Thanks for watching!
The old one u took out is flat in both sodes but the new one is flat in one side & on the other side has two U shape indentation. That will fit or makes a difference? My 97 jeep wrangler 4.0 has one like the new one u have.So I bought a new one today with the same part # u got but is flat in both sides like the one u just throw away.Idk if that one gonna fit or need to have the 2 U shape cut. Please let me know, thank u!
I had to go back to watch it again. It seems as if you're talking about the housing on the back side of the release bearing assembly? That's the only part I saw that was different. If that's what you're asking about, I don't think it makes any difference at all, so you should be okay with the one you bought. Good luck with your project!
@TorquePowerVideo Ok.Thank u so much.Very good video showing parts & giving part number.Keep up the good work. Thanks again!
Great and informative, I’ll be doing this myself soon
I'm glad it can help you out. I have a set of the fronts I've also decided to install at a later date. Thanks for watching!
Been looking at one of these just because I’m tired of ratcheting stuff, I’m not a mechanic just work on my own stuff and seems like for occasional use these are pretty decent
I've been very pleased with mine. It's one of my favorite tools by far!
Clutch plate is probably rusted to flywheel and or pressure plate
I hadn't thought of that since it's been stored inside. That shop does sweat a lot in the spring and fall, so I suppose it is possible! Thanks for commenting!
Thank Sir. I'm French and own a TJ 4.0L 1998. 50000 miles. I'm looking about videos showing how to replace the clutch. Mine has an issue : when the engine is "cold", I mean for the first 15 miles, when I release the clutch pedal, there are some vibrations as the engine is shaking so it's unpleasant when I start to move from a stop. There is no noise (even a little one) when I engage or release the clutch pedal being in Neutral, and the clutch itself seems to work well as it doesn't slide and it's strong even in 4 Low gears. No fluid leak also. After some miles, this issue decreases. All the 5 gears work well also and there is no noise on the roads or highways. So, with your experience, maybe you have an idea. My solution would be to replace the 2 discs clutch/bearing/....I mean the complete mecanism. To be continued.....🙂
Great video !! Very instructive. 👍
I'm glad it could help, that's why I do it!
You can keep it. Torque test channel was able to break one and it could not come close the running the nut driving test at a decent speed. I'll stick with my DeWalts even if I pay three times the amount!
Thanks for sharing!
Torque Test Channel tested that model and I'll for sure pass....they were able to break it with a manual torque.
Thanks for commenting!
New sub here. I appreciate the groans and moans as you work, it reminds me of doing this job myself. LOL. Thanks for the video I learned something already today :)
Thanks for watching! Yes, the groans and moans seem to have crept up on me over the years 😄
No explanations needed, life happens.
Good to see you back in the comment section, my friend. I was afraid I'd run you off with all the off-road content.
@@TorquePowerVideo as you put it “life happens” we’re still kicking.
