Easy fix. Factory amp wire is in wrong place. It needs putting to acc live so amp triggers when unit comes on

Can't make videos right, can't wire it right, and its not clean but yet you complain about a Teyes and their support. They can't support your amateur installation, why any car audio, home theater + audio, etc.. should be installed by a professional. You don't take your BMW and start rebuilding the engine with bigger cams now do you? so why take task of installing a radio where obviously you have no clue how to. Teyes no where says its a plug and play. Read, research then buy. Any radio manufacturer won't support amateur installation, they provide support for their device. Spend the extra $$ and have a PRO install it.

Reload a different firmware, I went from the 360 version to the regular And there where bugs, like the settings icon wouldn’t load I downloaded an older firmware and everything started working Then I downloaded the newest version of the regular cc3 And boom that solved my problem Teyes support sucks that’s for sure Wait till you deal with the SIM cards 🥴

Nice buddy, blame it on the radio. that'll show them not holding your hands while connecting your new toy. proberbly just a setting or connection ,thank god you made zero mistakes. just a tip, if the connection dus not fit 100%? maybe, just maybe, it not the right harnas for your car model/year,combo you know? not all BMW are created equal. now, I am not saying you made a mistake. i am saying that it is ''impossible'' to know that you tried ''everything'',Sind's you state that you do not know what the problem is right. i have been in your shoes Manny time, and there was 9out of10 something I missed.

Have u been in the secret menu I have a different radio not teyes and there is a secret menu u need a code to get in I can control every item Vol like phone radio you tube etc all separately from 1 to 20

I have solve the problem my friend go to device setting then canbus settings there you have to find correct car model and harnes type after set up all take off ur battery (-) for 15 min then plug it again that's it then you got sound

Haha it doesn't work because you didn't wire it up correctly and you should have not been tight and purchased the cc3 far superior. Let this video be a lesson to yourself.

Since this is a result of your own miswiring (the comment by Andrew Lawhorn is pretty convincing), you might at least moderate your findings if not withdraw the video. It's easy to get something like that wrong. I agree that the lack of support for Canadian users by Teyes is a problem worth warning people about. I agree with "viperphi11" that these units are for people who will tinker. In particular, there are a bunch of CAN bus settings that determine whether car interface functions work or not, and if you don't get good information on what to set for your vehicle, it's trial and error. The reality for many of us is that there is no offering from the first-tier brands for our vehicles, and if we wish to upgrade from old head units which are terribly dumb compared to our phones, these no-name Chinese manufacturers are the only game in town. Although Teyes might make some software and firmware additions to these radios, I am not convinced that they are the actual manufacturer.

The amp turn on (blue with white stripe) wire is coneceted to the radio antenna wire (solid blue) that's why you get audio when you turn on the radio. Make sure the blue wire with the white strip or amp turn on wire is connected to the correct wire on the harness and you should have audio all the time. No mater witch audio source you select.

I just installed mine in my 22 altima. It works FLAWLESSLY. Also the owner of T’eyes Dan communicated with me to make sure everything works and helped me out with the canbus. They care about us Americans. Maybe he doesn’t like Canada cause your president is a communist? 🤷

You are right. waste of money. they are only good with the user-interface. CC2 plus there is no carplay and android auto. The microphone doesn't work properly, there is no manual and their support is not good. you can get better units for that price.

I agree on the fit of certain components. I had to use a heat gun to make some things fit more ideally. What I will tell you is the devices are shipped with outdated firmware which you can update by downloading and dropping on a USB. I'd update the firmware to latest before troubleshooting just so you don't have to do things twice if/when things get wiped. Then I'd make sure the CAN bus settings are set to the make/model of your vehicle. You probably already did that since the steering wheel controls worked but still something to double check. These Android head units are definitely for those who are comfortable tinkering. You have to battle them but that's probably better than eating the $$$ loss.
